There's now way in hell that Rashad McCants, Telfair, Collins, Craig Smith and Gomes without a Seven Footer next to him defensively, would be playing on any teams rotation, whether that be a WINNING OR LOSING team. We're really that bad, with us being undersized up front and with our backcourt consistently seeming to have either a very low basketball IQ or a complete lack of ability to shoot the basketball consistently. I believe you can really attribute the entire team's ability to compete professionally at all in any games on Al Jefferson, Randy Foye, Mike Miller, Kevin Love and Corey Brewer Love and Brewer are the most incosistent, with Love though, he's possibly our player with the most potential. Before the season started Love was remarking on how Carlos Boozer was so buff at the Pre Olympic practices with Love and the Select Team and how he wanted to be as buff as him within a season or two. I believe he's really got the drive and talent to be great, he just needs to better condition his body, to become quicker and more explosive. It's become apparent though that McFail has yet again put a terribly mismatched team together. We're definitely headed to at least the top seven in the lottery again, but who could be the right fit for us? Or, who will be available? We DEFINITELY NEED somebody in the backcourt or at the 3 who has supreme athleticism and a high basketball IQ (Derozan, Jennings, Harden - possible Roy clone) or a long, taller 4 or 5 with above average defensive ability, good athleticism and the ability to run the floor like Blake Griffin and BJ Mullens but they will probably be out of our range, and knowing McFail, he probably takes a big man like Hasheem Thabeet. As Timberwolves fans, I know we all hate Kevin McHale and there are no words in the world that can be used to express our deep puzzlement for Glen Taylor and why he's never held McFail accountable for his continuing, franchise cripling, offseason moves. There's just no logic with the Minnesota Timberwolves franchise, we're doomed for mediocrity until drastic changes are made with our front office and coaching staff. Whitman has done nothing to show why he should stay any longer, all last season I watched a countless number of game when we were up in the third and lost, it's a continuing trend over a period of ninety games now. We're just not showing any progress in learning to control games with any strategy, most of our guys look lost, selfish, undirected, and without a lack of immediacy and a passion to compete and win. There's a reason that Whit coached the Cavs the two years before they took LeBron, he doesn't successfully motivate talent into being at its top potential. For christ's sake, the Cavs took DaJuan Wagner in 2002 under Whit's coaching direction. He's a coach that you bring in to be a franchise killer or a hidden agenda savior, like with the Cavs. I'm sorry to say it fans, but David Stern hates us, McFail is a traitor and or moron, depending on your level of paranoia, and there's no Lebron, Kobe, Duncan, or a definitive All NBA player in the next couple of drafts that would have the chance to come out.

I've watched a lot of T-Wolves on TV & don't blame McHale.

Wonder what kind of degree Wittman was talking about? It's pretty pathetic when every time a foul is called against the Wolves, most of the players & the coach put on a big show as if it's so obvious they know better than the refs.

They still might make the playoffs.

I haven't watched a minute of Wolves BB this year, and won't...not on TV and certainly not live!

Hope Gopher Basketball puts together a decent season.

Of course we can blame Kevin McHale. He is a terrible judge of talent. In recent drafts we could have had Danny Granger, Brandon Roy, OJ Mayo, and Mario Chalmers and still have Kevin Garnett. And he also fired two coaches that were playing .500 or better for a guy that has one of the worst winning percentages of any coach dead or alive. Until both McHale and Wittman are gone this team will never improve. Tired of beating this dead horse. We can already talk about who's available in next years draft but it won't matter because McHale will once again screw up another lottery pick

The wolves are a mess right now. Wittman has little to show for his coaching efforts and needs to be let go. McHale--wow--can a person do any worse as a gm? It is laughable to think that we let B Roy go to Portland for R Foye. The Garnett trade a total disaster. OJ Mayo for K Love? Kevins work ethic is great but I am seeing Mark Madsen all over him right now.
Here is an idea for Wolves fans and for Glen Taylor-- keep McHale and when you are considering a trade or who to draft, get his recommendation.....and do the exact opposite. The Timbies would be contending right now if that policy had been put in place 3 years ago--and we would be looking at a championship banner or two if that policy was in place 10 years ago.
McHale--the laughingstock of the league and the worst GM in the history of pro sports. Someone had to say it.

"McHale--the laughingstock of the league and the worst GM in the history of pro sports. Someone had to say it".

It's been said many many times over. This is not a breaking news
