I saw Webber play for the Michigan AAU team in a tournament in Tallahassee in 1991. Other members of that AAU team included Dwight Howard and Jalen Rose.

Webber was a spectacular player coming out of high school and was named MVP of the AAU tournament.

I've followed his career at Michigan and the NBA. I know he had the reputation of being injury-prone and having a big ego. He was still one hell of a basketball player.

Chris, we all get old. Good call on the last timeout!
