if the players 'don't overly care' about the regular season, why should anyone plunk down their money to see them play? maybe we should wait until playoff time to attend games and get our moneys worth. maybe the nba should only allow division winners into the playoffs. larry bird or magic would never say such a thing.

Hey, I am your tattooed 2-minute Watchman
with a message about your life,

What a waste of space and time to worry about the NBA now.The NBA is such a bore and waste of valuable time in your life to be worrying about it now.

Why not wait till the last 2 minutes of every game and why not wait until the final and semifinal rounds of playoffs in May-June and then watch a little bit then. This stuff, wow, what do people find in it? What a horrible sabotage of the way people use their time.

All this stuff before May-June final series is just to sell beer and merchandise and commercials to the fans who incredibly find nothing better to do. It means nothing. Every other team makes the playoffs and so how signifiicant can all this stuff be.

The same goes for Hockey, which is another bunch of guys, these ones are mostly white so this isnot a racial comment, but it is another waste of 3 or 4 months of games that mean nothing.

You will never get this time back again in your life, it is down the drain like pimple squeeze and male pattern baldness hair that you never get back. So instead of watching this ridiculous bore, now is a good chance to catch up on browsing google, watching a movie, reading a book or magazine and learn about other things in life besides the Basketball Jones thing. And if you miss the tattoos, well, then just watch Miami Ink in the Discovery Channel and there you have it all, every tatoo imaginable.

Don't get me wrong. I do like Basketball but the NBA regular season is so overrated until you get to May and June.

Sincerely and truly yours,
Tattooed 2-Minute Watchman

P.S:AGAIN: Use your time wisely,
Paying attention and watching Regular Season NBA games is like watching paint dry until the playoff time. Read a book about basketball, play on Ebay, eat ice cream. A mind is a terrible thing to waste on the NBA). Now football, that is a bit more exciting for sure. 16 games, single elimination playoffs, that is much more like life.

That is about the dumbest thing that I have eva heard... Basketball is by far the most exciting sport. I like football as well... but Basketball, there is more excitement because there are less teams to pay attention to, There are newcomers who are actually worthy of being compared to Jordan, Magic, and Bird. The players are getting more athletic each year. during most games there are at least 6 jaw-dropping plays. Any player on the floor can make a highlight at any given time. Football is not the same way. Obviously, this person has not seen D-Wade's highlight reel... It is always more exciting to watch a young 6'4 guard dunk on previous 7'0 MVP's such as Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. You only could see that in the regular season. A player go for 81?? Regular season. A team going for 63+ wins?? Regular Season.. I agree right now, it's too early in the season to predict the best teams, but comparing the regular season to paint drying is ridiculous. Basketball is bigger than football this year. Ask the children who are growing up idolizing players like D-Wade, Kobe, L. James, T-Mac, and Iverson. In football, the only names that stick out to the public is Terrell Owens, and I don't think his play on the field is the reason for that... You are in the wrong Forum to be sayin shit like that homey... On top of that,People who aren't Heat fans, are eager to see the year that Shaq is less dominant, and ineffective... but there are many of us, who wants to see him continue to prove people wrong every year... We are curious to see how Ben Wallace's trade to Chicago would effect the Pistons and Bulls... We want to see D-Wade win another Championship and we want to see if he will improve his defense and his 3 point percentage to be the most unstoppable player in the league. We want to be able to debate LeBron, DWade, and Kobe... Now, please give us at least 2 reasons to watch Football during NBA season??
