D. Wade will erupt for 50 points against the Knicks on opening nite. The Heat will begin their season 3-0. Critics, doubters & haters will jump on the band wagon. Wade will play the entire season with a massive chip on his shoulder...He will bring respectability back to this franchise!!! You heard it here first!!

Can you imagine the HEAT with a bone fide center and not a wanna be ?

Will the Heat get in the playoffs, maybe, if the new coach decides he needs more personal time with the family.

It is the way it is here in Miami, do too good, and Riley will be telling you to send more time with the family.

Sorry, the answer is no...they will not make the playoffs with this current small line-up. They'll be fun to watch but will get pounded inside. Let's just hope Wade doesn't get injured again.

This team will make the playoffs when the "yew" makes it to the BCS championship. In other words - never! Go Gators!

Smaller and less talented than the Pistons teams....not gonna make it.
Unless someone like Chalmers turns out to be a shooting star.

David usually writes good stuff. This is not among his best work. To emphasize the first three games with a roster revamp, a new coach, and at least two rookies prominent in the rotation is just plain stupid. What the Heat are is the end of the season is important, the begining will be just trying to improve and get better. The playoffs would be great but steady progress is more important.
