RONDO (not rando) is in his second year this year. He was a rookie when he helped the Celtics win the title last year. He certainly had a better rookie year than Chalmers and I don't see the potential for Chalmers that Rondo has. Rondo plays fantastic defense and drives to the basket with reckless abandon. I can only wish he were on the Heat.
We do need that type of PG badly!

Expecting anything more would have been foolish.
So far from some of the comments on this board it looks like there is an ample amount of stupidity and foolishness out there.
At least Truth speaks the truth. The majority of other posts are spewed by morons who really do have no clue. Not surprising, though.

It was agood turnaround from last season. Now Riley knows what he has in players and a coach, who will return and who will be replaced and i really hope that there will be some changes. Go Cavailers

well,well,well!!
the heat fans are drinking the koolaid one day, then having a tea party, kool aid style, the next..
what happened to all the we gonna do this or that to the Atl?
i was born and raised in Atlanta,so i know the feeling of thinking with your heart instead of your head people..
i've been there..And who knows, after 4 games with the cavs,i might be there again..

we,were 1-3 versus the cavs this year, and we avgeraged 94 ppg to the cavs 98..
only one blowout and they did it to us..
the other games were close..
i do think we can take the cavs because of our bench play..only if its going 6 games..
if its 4,5,or 7 games, the cavs will be the hawks..if its 6 games,we can beat them..

we won't come back to atlanta for game 3,down 2 games to none,MARK MY WORDS!!!

i have not been wrong since i signed onto this website..and i won't be now..
the cavs think its gonna be a walk to the conference championship, but it won't...

the cavs will be a little rusty, and their timing will be off..and look for us to sneak out A game 1 victory on tuesday..and look for Atlanta to lack off and lose game 2 in cleveland folks..

3 and 4 will be split, and we will either win games 5 and 6,or,they will win games 5 and 7...
we will take them if its 6 games, but if its 4,5,or 7,they will defeat us..

the difference is once mike woodson goes deeper on the bench, the world will see this hawks team is 14 deep..1 thru 14,we are the best..not because of the coach..its because of the players rick sund our new gm from phoenix has brought in this year for our team..
flip murray,mo evans, thomas gardner, othello hunter, and randolph morris are the best end of the bench players in the league..and they would be 2nd stringers on any other nba team..

and u know what flip and mo can do...

im no dummy..
my team the atlanta hawks are terribly inconsistent..they play like all stars one nite and lames the next..we did get 2 in a row on you guys, but, when their back is up against the wall, they do come out fighting..buy,most of the time they end up losing,lol...
so,by a means im not saying that we Are the ISH..
i just know my team..And u guys need to learn yours...

What a loser..your guys needed 7 games to finish off the HEAT and regular season record means nothing..Go sleep and get ready for a 0-4 drubbing by the Cavs...As far as Heat is concerned, yes it was painful today to see them lose even after DWade dropped 30+,no complaints though after what we went through last season..hope we get better next year..GO HEAT

How can a team be so flat in a game 7? Spoelstra must take a lot of blame for not motivating this team. Chalmers and Beasly looked like rookies... give Chalmers another year, Rando had a very simular rookie year and you can see what he is doing in his 3rd year.
Rondo has a real coach AND he's surrounded by true pros that are willing to work with him and trust him.

The Heat, when addressed as a unit, is singular and therefore, the statement is grammatically correct.

If you expect any type of journalistic integrity or at least someone who can express proper spelling and grammar at the Sun Sentinel, you had better subscribe to something else. This paper has damaged its reputation by hiring substandard talent from non accredited liberal arts collages or by hiring newcomers out of the Caribbean. To read the Sun Sentinel is almost laughable, and major reason why I canceled my subscription more than a year ago. And this why this paper is in deep doo-doo.

i hate it when people try to correct others, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY TRY TO CORRECT SOMETHING THAT IS ALREADY CORRECT.

Should there be a hyphen, or possibly a semicolon, between "singular" and "and"? Or is it a subjective style decision rather than a rule?

Drinking the kool-aid? You think those losers will win one in Cleveland? The Hawks are a group of bums slightly better than the bums on the Heat. I'm betting they come back to that dump called the A-T-L down two losing by double digits in each game.
