so is it possible for beasley to have a lebron type impact or a wade type impact. Imagine if beasley can truly be as good as we hope..wed be deadly for years to come..wade and beasley ala pippen and jordan. I know pippen was a sf but he played big, and i think he was similar frame to beasley...

riley is right. build it slow.

with Beasley a sure thing at PF, we can make a great trade for Marion.
if no good offers we keep him. great problem to have, wouldn't you say? he's perfect complement to Wade
and Beez. can't lose either way.

Haslem off the bench to spell Beas
and also play 5 when we go small. i wonder if he can play some 3 as well. If so he'll be invaluable.

chalmers, banks should be alternated until either, neither, or both prove to be the main man.
with Q a solid 3rd, we don't need
another vet in backcourt. chalmers and banks can fill for Cook this month as well. Q can be #2 pg.

assuming we can dump Blount's tract,
is there anyone that's out there that will give us more than he can? the guy can score and pass. if
Zo is usual self he can go in when
we need defense and blocks. I still think Blount might make a great SF
if given the chance.

a starting five of blount haslem marion wade and banks ain't that bad, well maybe minus blount (i hate that slug) with beasley and chalmers first off the bench can probably keep up in the se conf. we need a defensive stopper and pure shooter still, man who'd think i'd miss posey and kapono

Blount at SF; really Genius??? You expect him guard...oh never mind. Maybe he could get us some rebounds if we put him at PG.

This starting line-up will have Wade Marion & Beasly unless a trade is made. Haslem can play the 4 or 5 when small but he isn't a 3 either; what are you people smoking.

SF are players like Lebron, Melo, Peirce; Joe Johnson, Mike Miller... guys that can shoot; pass; handle and run the floor.

I'd like to see Chalmers, Wade, Marion, Beasley, & a player to be named later. We only have two chips to move Haslem & Cook and not sure that is enough to get an upgraded Center.

I love Haslem but he isnt a starting caliber PF in the NBA; he worked next to Shaq because he fit a role but look at the guys that play that position; KG, Boozer, Brand, Dirk, Gasol, Howard, Duncan, Aldridge, Randolf, Harrington, West, Jamison, J O'neal, Bosh, Hortford, Beasley, Stoudimire, R. Wallace, Al Jefferson, K-mart... he is like a 2nd teir guy like Drew Gooden or McDyss.

They should be able to Keep the core of Wade marion & Beasly and they will still have max cap room in 2010 if they move Banks.

Ok guys, how can they have marcus banks projected as the starting point guard and not mario chalmers? The starting lineup should be this.(Trading haslem, davis, and williams for a center)
PG - Chalmers
SG - Wade
SF - Marion
PF - Beasley
C - Center that was traded for....
now to me, even if blount would be the center, that looks like a pretty potent starting line up to me, with james jones as backup!

We should keep Haslem, he is a really good player and always give 110%. Williams on the other hand is old, injury prone, and inconsistent. He helped us win in 2006 I know, I thank him for that but he doesn't fit now. I think Marion could be used in a trade to A)free up some money B)give us a chance at a good player in return. if we keep him though I see us playing small a lot with a line up that looks like this.
PG-Chalmers (or someone else traded for or signed)
SG-Wade (DUH!)
SF-Marion(if kept)
PF-Beasley
C-Haslem
This is a line up that could work well for us. When we go big we could use Blount or Alonzo Mourning.
In the end everything will work out and we will be much better then this season.

Oh yeah, get rid of Ricky Davis, he was a waste of money this year. Sorry Ricky you just didn't fit in with our team, best of luck in other places.
