I'm absolutely sick of Shaq. How can you hurt yourself when you don't rebound, play defense, or jump for that matter?! Give us our $20 million per season back and take your Championship that you somehow "earned" and shove it. Ego-maniac.

How doesnt he play defense? I only see the opposing guards kill us in games. Tell me when the opposing center killed Miami for the win? Give the man a break, he gets called for bogus fouls and he barely shoots the ball averaging 2 blocks a game seem to be a pretty good defensive display to me and he has been rebounding well. Its not his fault when the guards including Wade gets beat to the basket and when he steps up to help play D the refs calls crazy fouls on the smaller guards behalf because of his size. I am tired of people who rarely watch or know anything about basketball start calling for this man head.

Do any of you realize that no big names wanted to play for the Heat. Lewis, Williams, and Francis all opted to go in another direction. 20 mil or not those players did not want to play for Riley. And some one yell at Wade and the other guards they have been underachieving as well. They are the ones who dont play D. Shaq outplayed Amare (twice), Yao, and Howard. Give the man a break. He changed Miami when he came and if he didnt come there would been no future. And stop comparing Miami with GS, Pho, and all the other running teams. The Spurs are a half court team and they won the Championship last year.

I'm an optimist and hopefully things turn around for the Heat. Go Heat!!!! Their may be an upset tonight against the magic.

Why would Shaq be scared? Even at this stage in his career Howard is not strong enough to play him in the post. What happened last time the two teams played. Howard didnt even play him the majority of the game and Shaq had 20 points without even playing the 4th quater.

If Shaq is as great as you guys say he is why are the heat 8-21???????? The guy makes 20 million a year for what he did 5 yrs ago. Mark Blounts best year is what Shaq is doing right now at 20 mill. Im glad the heat got a championship, but that might cost them one of the 3 best players in the NBA because of the state of the franchise. Its no coincidence that everybody that has played with Shaq ends up having a beef with him. Im watching the game right now and the heat might win WITHOUT shaq.

Shaq, at this point could only save face if he gave money back. What a major disappointment he has been. His days of getting something for nothing are over. I turn my back to him.

I just watched the game and they almost did win without Shaq but Howard did not even have this close of numbers in the first meeting against the Heat. And I love the Heat but face it man it was a matter of time before the Magic heated up they shot 34 three pointers tonight. They had missed so many open shots its not that the Heat played so great the Magic shot terrible until the end. Blaming Shaq is an excuse for the Heat shortcomings. People he is shooting almost 60 percent from the field he doesnt miss that many shots. And I saw the game tonight and the Magic didnt double or trap Wade until overtime and we saw the outcome of the game. Shaq is not what he used to be but he still has an upside and people quit saying he is overweight and slow. Ask Amare how fast he thinks Shaq is along with Yao and even Howard because comapred to the first game his numbers were no where close to tonights.

So they did huh!? u all keep blaming Shaq but he is not the problem! Pat Riley is!He is the one not writing plays for his players! even kobe that can take anybody in this league has plays written down for him by his coach. all good coaches write plays to get their players at their best! pat just says give it to shaq, give it to wade and that's it! Larry brown changed Iverson and they got to the finals, he changed Billuips and they won a championship he tried with Marbury but he is to butt headed. Pat Riley only had superstars and made the others do this PASS IT TO THE STAR! Shaq is 35 now good luck with pass him the ball against double teams, wade is known for his penetration and with no outside shooting he gets doubled everynight because there is no need to run to the outside shooters therefore... THE COACH AND THE GENERAL MANAGER made a bad job this year surrounding their stars with good second role players! we lost this season already! get over it!

Shaq provides no defensive help. Don't tell me I don't watch basketball. I pay an extra $50 a month to watch this underachieving team lose game after game up here in Tampa. Shaq is inept on defense and is out of position 80% of the time. Notice how when ANYONE drives to the whole they either A) score, or B) get fouled by Shaq. He is as lazy of a player that there is in the league and its blatant. If you think he is effective then maybe you are the one that needs to watch more basketball. Ever since hes come to Miami hes received far more credit and money than hes deserved.

I am sorry Sam but I am afraid that you are watching something else. I am not trying to infer that Shaq is the ultimate defesive player. But to say he is out of position is absurd. If you consistently watch the games you will see Shaq mostly play help defense he always picks up the picks and rolls and he is averaging 2 blocks a game am I the only one to notice teams attacking the baskets more when he is out. And when he plays the help defense the power forward is to always dropped down to rolling center which has been abscent this year. Tonight Butler was showing the ball so early before he attacked the basket becuase of no interior defender such as Shaq or Zo. But I must admit that you are right with your notions A and B. But why is the opposing guards driving to the basket isnt that the perimeter players job to defend? Thats not Shaq fault because we have no perimeter defense. Hey Sam, until I see some opposing center outplay Shaq, along with the double teaming stopping, and Shaq going 2 of 14 from the field then I wil say he is worthless. Until then Heat fans stop blaming Shaq. And Sam try investing the extra 50 bucks in something else because either you do not watch the games or you are not quite knowledgeable about the game of basketball.

I think it is time for you people out there to give Shaq a break. So he is not doing so well anymore but in your best day you could not match up with him. He is in good shape but his body is tired....let him play or choose to retire with dignity without all of your insults and negative comments.....try just being half the man he is...Shaq fan.
