Hey Newsday! You are back at it again! Keep these tattoo riddled monkeys off your front page. You still have a few readers left (all six of us) who have more than a 6th grade education and still appreciate the more important aspects of the news.

Great to see the Knicks competing again. A big man away from being a contender.

Well, if any one is looking for an improvement in these guys, we have it. They show up every night for the entire game.

I can see why you're upset; those janitor jobs are disappearing fast. You shouldn't have dropped out of junior high.

this may come at a surprise but I'm not the ONLY one with a connection in Albany. You can be a diehard fan and/or clueless or a combination. Doesn't matter to me. Everyone here is entitled to an opinion. and some of us have NO problem if we ALL don't think the same way.... those of us who think that they are SO insightful that others seek there opinion out fall into another category ... delusional..

This Knick team is just not that good. That said, it empahsises how much of a coaching upgrade D'Antoni was from Isiah...

They're competetive on most nights and play an entertaining brand of basketball. The only concern I have will this style get the Knicks deep into the playoffs once they have 1 or 2 superstars stating in 2010...

Time will tell...

the test will be which ones of these coveted 2010 Free agents actually sign with the KNicks in 2010. They ALL can get
more money (maximum contracts) from their current team regardless of their salary cap status. that means a player will take less money to come to NY. The player will have to believe that D'Anton's style, while entertaining, can win a championship.
A very BIG IF in this man's opinion.
the style couldn't win with the best PG in the leagu (Nash), and now he's in a conference that plays defense and his teams lets opponents shoot 50% FG. As long as garnett and pierce are in boston, the road to the Eastern confernce finals will take defense.
