Full story: Newsday

Though his season essentially is over, Eddy Curry still is welcome to travel with the Knicks and blow off the team's training staff for workouts, as he has done several times this season.

Curry, if he has the iota of pride will come back in the shape of his life.

If not... that will be his legacy a dude that could have been a monster in the league but chose twinkies and vacations over being in the NBA.

I hope the guy does it...we need a (near) 7 foot guy who can own the paint (albeit only one one side of the court).

Q-Snitch giving advice to Curry?

Priceless.

I betcha - the reason Curry travels with the team, even tho neither playing nor working out, is because he has a girl (or boy) in each NBA city - and probably other kids, too.

But he's nice to have around in the locker room ..........

how can anyone feel badly for someone who is paid millions of guaranteed dollars to perform but refuses to work for it? his knees would be doing a lot better if he lost some weight, but why bother--he's already been paid. of course, he has time to spend countless hours sitting in a chair getting tattoos. and now he wants ANOTHER contract which he'll receive, then proceed not to earn. and to anthony morris, good luck with your english lessons.

I know this won't be a popular statement on a sports board but Curry, from a distance, seems to have all the signs of clinical depression.

It's very treatable and is something both he and the Knicks should consider before they assume he's just a useless fat f**k.

I agree with Alan Hahn about Thabeet, he doesn't look like a top 5 pick should. Never mind that he falls down too much, he just didn't have the competitive fire of a Mutomumbo or a Ewing, not even close. He is young and may grow into that but he played afraid to lose. The great players have the look in their eye that they are not going lose, not that their afraid to.

Better off picking up Aldrich and trading next years first for Minnesota's or OK's late first round and trying to pick up BJ Mullins or Ty lawson ( I agree with you on Lawson too Alan, that's twice in the same article, talking about your blog here.) Anyhow keep Lee wait for Bosh, to see if his Knee is better and then make a decision on 2010 if he is still around.

And don't forget about Johnny Flynn of Syracuse, he might even be better than Ty, more explosive and younger with more upside. In any case if the Knicks trade their 2010 1rst rounder they should get a descent player all the way to the 35th pick or so, there is going to be a pt. guard there or someone will drop.

If nothing else we can pick up Tyler Hansborough, although I think he will have a real tough time in the NBA with his half hook and no jump ability. He'd be a good practice player, prove me wrong Tyler, I want to be wrong, you work too hard.

If he'd spend more time focusing on the NBA, instead of:

1) Cheating on his wife
2) Making 2 babies NOT by your wife
3) Going to court to remove a child from the only family he knows, after his mother and your baby were murdered, AND THEN GIVING HIM TO YOUR MOTHER INSTEAD OF RAISING HIM YOURSELF! I guess getting all of the tattoos were more important than providing care for your surviving son.

You are a ruthless, heartless individual who deserves to get kicked out of the NBA.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Aquarius

Be careful now, because you could easily give someone the wrong impression and not even know that you're doing it. This is most likely to happen if you're trying to pussy-foot around them or avoid offending them, because that's when things could get lost in translation. You also have a tendency to sit on the fence now, which could make you seem slightly untrustworthy or shifty if you aren't careful.
