Oh Wades better then Kobe, Kobe ain't nothin without a multi all star big man. And btw bottom line Lakers have a much better shot at making the NBA finals then the Heat, but if the Heart are there THEY WILL BEAT THE LAKERS AND SEND PHIL JACKSON INTO RETIREMENT ON A BAD NOTE IN KOBE'S LAST NBA FINALS.

Did Kobe retire already? The i see it, mostly every star player are migrating to the east ever since KG went to boston. The reason is Kobe and the Lakers. You have a better chance of geting into the finals in the east than the west. Since the last decade, how many times did kobe went to the finals? 7 times! The fact is that u either have to join the lakers or move to the east if you ever want a chance to win a championship! Now cats are saying kobe need a star big man oh pls. Wade needed one before and now has 2 superstars: lebron and bosh. Unless kobe retires wade or lebron can't be number 1!

Mindreader: The Lakers winning Back 2 Back Titles was devastating for these haters...

It's in they're entries here on Topix; the only way to somewhat soothe the sting of this, is for them to make stupid remarks demonstrating their jealousy of the CHAMPS, but none more than for KB24!

Whichever way they choose to slander, the fact remains that the Lakers are their 2010 champs, Kobe MVP!

and that just irks em'! LOL

Pau Gasol is also the only reason Kobe has added 2 championship rings to his previous 3.

sorry buddy..great ones don't shoot 6 of 24 and get bailed out in the most important game of his life..only to get all the credit afterwards..bottom line is that kobe was second fiddle when he won with shaq....and did not win again until he got lots of help...and besides all that...kobe has NEvER been all around like DWade or lebron...you put DWade on the same laker teams and they win as well..the only difference would have been that DWade would not have needed 7 games....so sorry to bust your bubble but kobe is old and will show it this season...his numbers pale to DWades..

Mr. Alvarez, Im not sure which is more amusing: your obsession to prove Wade is the "best" or your guest star appearance on a thread other than your usual.

You rely entirely too much on stats as it suits your convenience yet, when you were presented with the stats comparing Wade to Lebron, they were irrelevant to you.

Hmmm....

Yes, Kobe did shoot poorly. Many of those shots were passed to him under pressure situations From his teammates wherin the clock was expiring, no excuse overall but, it made a difference.

By saying "great ones dint shoot 6/24..." you're implying that he choked...

Aside from the shooting, Kobe pulled 15 boards and drew double and triples all night, he found ways to contribute other than offensively. Although he had a couple assists, he passed pinpoint lasers to teammates wide open MANY times, they just failed to convert.

But, the box score, sums it all up for Joe.

Also, he didn't recieve all the credit afterwards because of that ONE game dummy...

He was praised for his performance overall in the series!

As for Wade not needing 7 games, or NOT needing "all that help", please Joe, that's embarrassing seeing as he's paired up now with Bosh and LBJ and has done NOTHING since SHAQ (unless you count 1st round exits as something)

Even if they win the next 10 championships, niether of those fools will EVER be compared with Jordan...or Kobe and an asterisk will be placed next to those wins..

The legends agree, from MJ to Bird...the idea is to COMPETE against eachother and define your legacy as a LEADER.

And no Joe, those legends don't care about "they're stats/records being shattered" (your predictable), those guys are REAL legends, not primmadonna babies dancing on the stage.

Kobe is old but, his experience still makes him the BEST.

Even this guy recognizes that:

Sorry to burst your hyped up bubble there Joe.

I can't say d-wade has surpassed Kobe, he is one the only guards you can even make this argument with but until he wins more rings and comes thru in some more clutch situations than Kobe is the man until further notice

Is that a stunning revelation? But since you value Gasol>>>Kobe, How many rings would Gasol have gained had he stayed put instead of pairing up with Kobe?
