since the big trade to start the season, the pistons have lost the heart and sole of team play....they were a true team rarely seen in the pros these days, even though Rip doesn't keep it in check sometimes....Iverson is not a team player....so nights it looks like every man for himself...McDyess does not play as well with other teams as he does with the pistons because he is a team player not a show boat.....Iverson's past comments about missing "Team Practices" probable doesn't sit well with the rest of the Pistons...it takes meaningful practice to have a well oiled team...don't get me wrong Iverson is a great ball player...but is not a great team player.

I agree. Iverson is a joke. He is a ball hog and not nearly as quick as he used to be. Can you say getting rid of Billups was the worst trade ever. the only good thing was we got mcdyess back.

Iverson is great with kids at the stadium..so he can be a "nice guy"...but the trade of Billups for Iverson was terrible!!!!!!!
I was watching the Pistons last night-losing again and the one thing that is different is there is NO leader on the team now that Billups is gone! We have a bunch of players running around, poorly coached by Curry, with no leadership!
We are sub 500 team with Iverson, and the Denver Nuggets are leading their division. Billups is having a career year in ave. points and assists.
Thanks again to Joe D for another bad trade. Did anyone notice that Joe D has stayed hidden through this mess...Joe says we 'just don't understand'. Wasn't Kwame Brown supposed to be the "man" for the Pistons this year!
