I don't usually support Iverson but this is ridiculous. If I understand the story correctly, this coach held a practice...on Thanksgiving Day...because of new players, mainly Iversion. So they could spend more time together to develop a chemistry with the other players. What a bunch of crap! You could have easily had the practice the day after or the day before Thanksgiving! You are not the police, firemen, or medical personnel where working holidays is a given. YOU PLAY BASKETBALL!! Sounds like a set up to me. Good for Iversion! I think he is going to get a lot more support on this one.

Here the coloreds go again with their sense of entitlement. Why should Iverson go to practice? He makes 17 mil a year that's why. But because he is black and the new president elect is too then he doesn't feel he should have to go to work. Typical.

Wow, you're way off. Nothing about his color justifies his entitlement to miss practice. It's more about the fact that it was a holiday and he wanted to be with his family. You fail to realize that the enormous contract he makes comes at the expense of him missing a large part of the year with his family because he has to go on road trips. He deserves the holidays at least with his family. You're just trying to start something. That was very ignorant of you.

Here the jealous racists go again with their hatred toward blacks. Iverson is a great basketball player and yes, Obama has been elected president of the U.S.... They must have done something right to get where they are, something that haven't and will never be able to do. Just face it; they are more successful than you will ever be.

On most holidays I must be at my job and I do not make the money Iverson makes. He was the only one to miss practice. He is a good basketball player but, not great (count the rings zero)or a team player. If Detriot (5-5) thought they were going to be a better team by getting Iverson they were wrong.

Since Michael Vick is a little short of funds right now, Iverson should think about saving the Boys & Girls Club. The fine he will pay could have been a big help. I see nothing different about this man's behavior now than what it has always been.

Well Do you blame AI for not wanting to practice for a stolen team who turned all their fans into convicts??????????

And as for practice on Thanksgiving, I agree with you 100% it was a bad Idea. But then again this season little Joey Dumars has pursued allot of bad ideas like signing Kwamie Brown to an overpriced contract and trading Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess to the Nuggets for AI. And Joey will most likely pay for for his mistakes when the Pistons do not make the playoffs this season.

Don't forget the fact that the Pistons were stolen and turned all their fans into convicts. Playing into AI skipping practice.

Agreed, Detroit knew it was going to happen!! History does repeat itself. Sit Him, keep him out of practices, and make him look stupid on a National Televised game.

Well like it or not the Pacers are playing a hell of allot better then the stolen Pistons!!!!!!!!!!

Who were undefeated untill little Joey Dumars decided he wanted to trade for AI!!!!!!!!!!

Now since they've traded for AI they have been no better then 500!!!!!!!!!!

So there I rest my case

Ft. Wayne, Indiana-The Pistons+Detroit+Convict fans+Rasheed Wallace-Flip Shauders-Chauncey Billups-Antonio MyDyess+Kwamie Brown+AI=Bad Karma=Pistons get smashed by Celtics=Pacers smash Celtics=2009 Pacers>2009 Pistons=No Playoffs for the Pistons=2009 Pistons=1999 Bulls
