got to feel sorry for the kid. he's playing with a second rate team and a second rate organization. starts with the owner who has an inept gm and a coach who never coached before. and teammates consisting of the joker, gunner gordon, dribble dribble heinwreck, a shot and miss nocioni...tsk, tsk.

The Bulls seem 2 have ZERO expertise in every single area that counts. Owner, GM, coaching, scouting and player development. Unbelievable.

Same goes for the Bears. What is going on in Chicago sports?

3 ways the Bulls make the playoff 1: Trade,,,,,for Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garrnet and Dwayne Wade. 2: Hostage....hold hostage to all of the 10 best teams until after the playoffs. 3: Payoffs.....prove to everyone the Black Sox scandle is not just resticted to baseball in Chicago. Either of these 3 ways plus firing Paxson and replace him with former Gov. Blago will guarantee a Bulls playoff.

Gee, what a goal to limp into the playoffs and be embarrassed.
I hope Skile makes the playoffs. Skiles and Paxton were a good team that were ragged by malcontents.

Look - the Bulls are not going to get Bosh or Stoudamire because Jerry is not willing to pay any luxury tax right now. Signing Deng to that contract (when you have players like Thomas or Nocioni who could replace him) has eaten up too much of the cap to allow a trade for a bona fide star without incurring luxury tax.

Sounds like at least 3 ways not to make the playoffs (you said not get Amare, keep Rose on the bench in the stretch, and home games).

That's the type of team that usually gets the #1 pick. Garnett didn't do so well with the Timberwolves. The only difference is that ___[the Bulls were lucky/the lottery was fixed] so the Bulls could move up.

I would love for the Bulls to get Bosh and would take him over Amare. I would make that trade if the Bulls had to only give up Deng, Thomas and some expiring contracts.

Agreed. It's insane that Rose wasn't there. With a tie game, you want someone to drive and get fouled. You only need to make one free throw. And rose is the best driver. Vinny should be fired for that mistake alone. By now at least 5 better coaches have been fired. Can him and hire Flip Saunders and bulls will make the playoffs for sure.

Add Amare to the list of All-Stars that have been dangled in front of Bulls fans to dream about(KG, Gasol, Kobe)no matter how realistic these deals were the bottom line is Paxson has shown inablility to make deals that would have improved this ball club. Don't be surprised if the Bulls stay put at the deadline, miss the playoffs by a game, and fall back into the lottery!!! Until the front office changes nothing else will!!!

Scott Skiles has obviously shown how much difference a coach can make. To think he's been w/o his star player (Michael Redd) most of the season, and Andrew Bogut a big amount of time, and still the Bulls can't seem to catch them, shows the value of Skiles.

It's just too bad that the Bulls caved in with Luol Deng and gave him that crazy contract, since there's no way possible any team would trade for him now that he's owed as much money as he is. I'd much rather see his name involved in these trade talks than Tyrus Thomas. At least with Thomas, there's actually still the potential there that can be seen; however, with Deng he appears to have peaked two years ago and is regressing now at an alarming rate.

sefolosha and thomas are the reason the bulls lost that game to the heat. they are also two of the many reasons why skiles left. say good-bye to these two.

Once again Pax will sit on mediocre players instead of getting a player who can really contribute. There is nothing the Bulls can not afford to give up to get a low post presence like Stoudamire. I'd try to keep Rose out of the deal though.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Virgo

You're struggling to get everything finished in time today, making you feel fractious and tired. At some point you may have to take a pragmatic decision about which tasks must be completed today and which will have to be postponed until another day. Do your best to keep things in proportion otherwise you'll waste time in trivial details and needless nit-picking.
