The Bulls have to make this trade if the Suns are serious. As the article says, we have the players, drafts picks, and expiring contracts to make this deal. Nobody is untouchable except for Rose. I don't care if we have to gut this team to make it happen. We could have a Rose/Stoudemire combo for the next 5-6 years. We would be a playoff team immediately.

Get it done Pax

C'mon Pax, we need Amare, the only person im raelly gonna miss is Thomas, his explosiveness helps the teams but had his pros and cons throughout the year. Gooden was a help for the Bulls, but Amare would be simply outstanding if he was a Bull, Rose, Gordon, Noch, Deng(if hes not traded to the Suns), and Amare.

This has to happen. We must push hard for this deal and not sit back like we have when trying to bring other players in. I mean Amare is a stud and always will be so why do I keep hearing all the negative towards him!?
The guy might not be Mr nice but he is the inside scoring we have been craving since Elton Brand left us. I keep hearing we like the recent play of both Noah and Thomas, C'MON! This is just one of their little spurts where they do pull their finger out and play well. The bad streak is again just around the corner. Paxson stop waiting for these players to develop and go get the type of player in Amare that we are always talking about. |

I agree. The Bulls need to make this trade happen. It's time to make some moves and go in a different direction. The Paxson Experiment hasnt worked and giving up a few busters who dont act or play professional is worth it for a 4 time all-star.

The Suns are willing to get rid of an all star 20 and 10 guy. This means he is jacked up int the head. They traded the Matrix to keep him happy and he still has issues. We don't want this guy here. He is already labeled as a dis-intersted rebounder and defender. If the guy he defends also gets 20 and 10, he doesn't help us.
He might have some issues but we need to make some kind of change. I would take Kaman from the Clippers first but I dont think they are gonna trade him. |

As much as I've defended John Paxson's inability to make a big trade the past few years --- accepting the fact that Reinsdorf wouldn't allow the team to go over the cap to obtain Gasol ... that Kobe was never going to be traded ... and that the Bulls put together a better package a year before to obtain KG ...
As much as I've defended him, I can not defend him any longer if he doesn't land Stoudamire in a trade. If another team swoops in and takes this guy with a lesser package than the one the Bulls could put together, it will be inexcusable. Paxson should not sleep until he finds a way to get Steve Kerr to accept his offer for this guy. |

I doubt Paxson has the sense 2 make a trade that benefits the Bulls. In 6 seasons, he has yet a draft, trade for, or sign a single NBA all star. That says it all.

Hey, great! Another clubhouse cancer! Let's keep Larry Hughes and bring back Adrian Griffin and really destroy the chemistry of this team.
BAD MOVE IF THEY GO FOR AMARE. |
i thought the suns was suppose to be disscusing a trade wit the heat, well if thats the case then the bulls should trade larry to the suns,he would be a good addition to the suns.Paxson should make that happen, for real

If these are really the players the Suns are looking for, the trade must be done asap. Bulls win anytime with such a trade. One big man in the center, and the Bulls starting to look awfully good.

I'll believe it when I see it. While the Bulls definitely need to upgrade their frontcourt, Amare Stoudemire's possible acquisition doesn't necessarily insure that the Bulls will be a playoff team this year given how uneven this roster is structured. Besides, I have little confidence in GM John Paxson pulling the trigger on this possible deal & whether Reinsdorf is willing to possibly pay the luxury tax to get Stoudemire here. Remember, Bulls fans...Reinsdorf's refusal to pay the luxury tax cost the Bulls Pau Gasol, and the Lakers gave up very little to get him about a year ago. Pau could've helped the Bulls last season.
You have to remember, Amare has the ability to sign with another team after next season. If we trade a lot of our guys to get him and he leaves Chicago, we are going to be more screwed than we are now. We will see what develops in the next week and a half...

Anybody that opposes this trade clearly knows nothing about basketball.
The present team is growing up fast so why change? Attitude IS important.
buyer beware!!!!!!
DO NOT TRADE TYRUS! This guy will end up being better all around the amare in a few years. Major mistake!!!! |
Zero chance of Paxson pulling off any kind of deal that benefits the Bulls.
Can we also trade Paxson for Kerr.
If we land Amare we will sign him to an extension ASAP. |
