Kevin Love, in home debut, sparks Wolves past Utah Jazz

The regular-season home debut of Kevin Love helped the Timberwolves pull off their third win of the season Saturday night with a 108-101 victory over the Utah Jazz at Target Center.

Great to have Kevin Love back...what a difference-maker! Congrats to the Wolves on a big win over a VERY good Utah team. This team will continue to improve throughout the year if they can stay healthy.

I was pinning a lot of hope on Love's return and it seems I am being repaid for that faith in him. His rebounding seems to make everyone else a better rebounder and he just seems to get the whole team playing the way they should. I see him emerging as the team leader rather than Jefferson. He may also become our "star" player over Big Al. So far this year, I haven't been all that impressed with him. The ball seems to stick in his hands too often and he tries to bull his way to the basket when he is triple teamed and he ALWAYS gets stripped of the ball. Makes me crazy!

I like the way Rambis is handling this young team and his demeanor during games. He's what a young, sometimes jittery bunch of guys needs. So far I'm impressed.

I'm feeling a lot better about this team than I was a week ago! Go Woofies!
