Magic free agent signee Mickael Pietrus a member of NBA's new g...

If Orlando Magic fans shrugged when word came down that the first free-agent pickup of the offseason was Mickael Pietrus, they obviously haven't been paying attention to a trend sweeping the NBA . Full Story

Good article Kyle.
I'll comment on it but it's the same comment that I have had on every article about Pietrus sine he hit the Sentinel.

Here's a tidbit you all may have missed from a true Warrior Fan...

"I'm a lifelong Warriors fan, and I've seen almost every game of MP's pro career, and I can tell you that if you are hoping for him to be a defensive stopper, you are dreaming. He played great D for us for about 10 games, and then lost interest. Then he complained when he wasn't used as much as he wanted. He basically walked through the first half of the season, even though it was a contract year. He tried a bit at the end, but we needed him to give 100% for the whole season. Best of luck to ya!"

The guy sounds like me from the 1st comment I had on Pietrus...I'm sorry I must apoligize for being TOTALLY CORRECT on eveything I post on here!

that's what i've been sayin. i'd rather have Pietrus than Magaette. Magaette would of taken shots away from Lewis and Turk and rarely play any defense. There was no need for him here

LMAO, do you EVER have anything good to say?

I guess with your nickname we can never take you seriously. Your replies aren't even entertaining, though - at least you could have that.

As far as Pietrus, of course he lost interest. Would you continue to play hard defensively if the rest of your team was focused only on offense? He can't do it by himself. He may not be a lockdown defender, but he'll be a good addition to the Magic, and a better defensive presence than they've had at the 2 spot in a LONG time.

And with Stan's insistance on defense and Dwight behind him "just in case" he will flourish in Orlando's defensive and offensive schemes.

Golden State is in trouble now after losing Pietrus and BD - perhaps that's why the fan is so upset.

The reason LMAO is so upset is because his boyfriend JJ doesn't get to play and this signing insures that he wont. You have to forgive LMAO not only is he the dumbest person to comment on these boards (saying something when we already have Jim from Sanford) but his butt buddy doesn't even get to play.

I can't wait for JJ to get traded, with Arroyo going away with JJ the Magic fans want have to read the stupid ranting of their fans. It will be nice to get back to intellegent discussions and not broken english and idiots like LMAO.

BTW you did miss LMAO one (and only one) entertaining post. The one where he said he was an insider who wrote for someone. When people asked who he replied I don't want all of you rushing to my site and overloading it wanting to read all of my wisdom. Yeah like that would ever happen ROLFMAO. Again the only entertaining post the idiot ever wrote.

Also I do find it more enjoyable reading the posts if I just skip any of them with his handle or a reply to one of his posts. Kind of like Jim's stuff if you ignore him he will go away but to many people keep replying to the 12 year old and he thinks he's cool because he has so many "friends" ROFLMAO!!!

intelligent discussion? You, my friend, are full of water and vinegar. Basketbell is a sport, not an interesting article in you latest of issue antiquing and current events digest. Fans go to games to cheer for their favorite players, not to discuss obama's politics and the latest trends in 1920's toaster doilies. You disappoint me, you wannabe magic fan dooshbag. You did make a semi inteligent point. JJ does SUHCK.

See I think LMAO has already spread his mornic self to other fans. Of course this doosh lives in Miami and probably roots for the Heat, but bandwagon jumped since the Magic have the better team.
Please don't bring the intelligence of the real fans who know what they are talking about down because your team sucks. Just because you can't type a sentence that makes any sense doesn't mean that "REAL MAGIC FANS" such as myself can't.
When I say I would like ranting "player" fans to leave the boards that's because I don't think the NBA should be played as a popularity contest. If that offends the Puertoricans and the Duke fans tough I root for the Orlando Magic not Puerto Rico Dukies.
But hey why should I even lower myself to talking to a guy who probably hasn't graduated the 2nd grade? I should have just lumped you into the idiot posts of LMAO.

In addition what is wrong with wanting to have intelligent discussions about basketball on a basketball blog? Sorry that I would prefer to talk to people who have some idea about the discussion more than "The Magic are stupid for not playing/signing this guy I played with him at the Y and he was good".

Intelligent conversations are not limited to politics or world news. Anything someone has knowledge in they can be smart in. My kid eats glue I'm sure he can have an intelligent discussion with his friends about which glue tastes better than I could.

Sorry that I offended you by using the word intelligent in my post but what would call someone knowledgeable about basketball? Stupid? Me I call them intelligent about basketball.

Blah, Blah, freaking Blah. You can lump me wherever the hell you want. When the hell did you become the all knowing, master of all blogger? You made my point perfectly clear, you racist dooshbag idiot. Those fans paid their hardearned money to watch these games. Let them root as loud and as proud for whomever they choose. Let them go into a blog like this one and give their opinion on how much they admire those players. Duke fans, be proud of Reddick. Puerto Ricans, be proud of Arroyo. Disregard the comments hateful comments made by this "Intelligent" Summers Eve bottle with amazing typing abilities. Listen you 'tard, I believe in freedom of speech, but is it neccesary to bring race into the matter? You are not bringing freshness everytime with your negative words. Kick it down a notch you baffoon.
