... and a raise. I knew this game would be close. The Knicks were going to play hard in a no-lose situation like a road game against the champs. They had nothing to lose here; even a blowout would be excused. Now they will revert back to playing lazy, indifferent basketball. The sad thing is I can see Dolan watching the game and being encouraged by the competitive score, then nodding in approval at Thomas' assertion that progress is being made. 8-23, highest payroll, sixth straight loss - some progress.
