Full story: LA Daily News

The San Antonio Spurs had five games in which to judge the Lakers, five grueling opportunities to determine whether they are worthy successors to the NBA throne.

Great team the Spurs, they gave credit where credit was due. Lakers will win against Boston. With Lamar and Pau the Celtics will have their hands full. Then we have Kobe the Mamba: will strike.

lakers in 5 go purple and gold.Boston is way overated dont be surprised if the lakers sweep. im not being biased kobe bryant is the best player off all time and lakers will get 3 home games in a row after hopefully winning one in boston it could be over for the green and white in less than 2 weeks

Wow, what can i say? An endorsement coming from the Spurs who know their basketball erases the stigma of doubt that the Finals sked brings toward the Lakers. In the midst of it all, i never noticed Phil Jackson(and his coaching staff) being given the credit for the essential contribution they've made for such feat the team accomplished.

The Lakers are in the NBA Finals to win it. Derek Fisher, Jordan Farmar, Ronny Turiaf, Paul Gasol, Luke Walton, and Trevor Ariza all came to this point in the post season to win the Championship and that's all there is to it.

Oh and The Black Mamba's gone be hungry. Hahahhaha

hey.. first of all I'm a fan for the both teams.. GO LAKERS AND CELTICS.. may you show us a great entertainment. two great dynasties.. 29 finals appearances for the LAKERS and 20 for the CELTICS. 14 Championship banners for the LAKERS and 16 for the CELTICS. well what more can i say. for the two teams GO AND SHOW US THE REAL GAME! for me it doesn't matter who will win. for me both teams are already true champions in a way that both this teams will be doing great in the FINALS. even before the games starts, I'm already thankful for this teams to be in the FINALS where TRUE CHAMPIONS PLAY! GO LAKERS AND CELTICS!

After reading this article, I really appreciated the spurs' sportsmanship despite losing to the lakers in 5 games and the controversial last play in game 4. The spurs are really a class act.
For me, my fantasy finals match-up just came true so it doesn't matter if the celtics or the lakers will win the championship. As long as they give us a good game, that's already good.

as what i've seen from their team, they deserved to be credited and appreciated for the effort that they made by defeating the san antonio spurs...there one of the most defensive team in the conference now as will as there offensive plays... their's no questioned about that....go go go go los angeles lakers to the championship hope you will be the 2007-2008 champions...gud luck..
