I AM A HUGE NBA FAN , BUT I FEEL KOBY BRYANT IS NO MVP AND HE DOESNT DESERVE TO BE A MVP. KOBY BRYANT NO MATTER HOW MUCH THE NBA TRYS TO MAKE HIM LIKE THE GREATEST PLAYER WILL NEVER EVER BE ABLE TO HOLD THE SHOES OF SOMEONE LIKE MICHEAL JORDAN. SHAQ IS THE REASON KOBY WON ALL HIS CHAMPIONSHIPS.
MVP PLAYER SHOULD BE A PLAYER LIKE DWAYNE WADE WHO SINGLE HANDIDLY TOOK THE HEAT TO THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP AND WON IT OR LIKE DAN MARINO YEARS OF PLAYING WITH LOSERS AND MAKING THEM WINNERS
KOBY WINS THE MVP YOU HAVE DISGRACED THE SPORT AND MIGHT AS WELL GIVE RICKY WILLIAMS MVP ALSO.....
Congrats on spelling Kobe's name right! I am pretty sure before the Lakers got Pau Kobe took the Lakers to the top of the west, first place. Last year they won a total of 42 games and today they just won there 42nd. They were the 7th seed last year and this year they have a good chance to be the first seed, right now in first place! so i don't know how you can't give the MVP to Kobe.

Why the hell is the Sun-Sentinel putting an obviously very biased article written by a very biased journalist working for a garbage media like the LA times?

It's a disgrace to this site, and i'm sure a lot of people with a healthy mind-set would appreciate it if the Sun-Sentinel wouldn't publish this kind of garbage any more.

Thank you.

Kobe Bryant is no way near being the MVP

Just because his teammates have stepped it up this season, and the Lakers are winning games as a result, it doesn't mean there is reason to make him MVP all of a sudden. He doesn't and has never made other players play better, and he isn't doing it now.

Give those other Lakers the credit they deserve. Don't give Kobe Bryant credit for something he doesn't deserve. That's really pathetic.

Also, being the MVP shouldn't be decided by how good or bad your teammates are playing. If you are indeed making them play better, yes. But saying Bryant is doing so is flat out untrue.

And besides, Lebron James is the MVP, hands down. And I'm not especially a Lebron fan, but it's the plain and simple truth. Kobe Bryant isn't even close to Lebron James.

Whao!!! MVP Crazy!!! I was at the Heat vs. Laker game in Miami and I saw more Kobe Bryant jerseys than Heat jerseys. When Kobe went to the three point line you heard the chants MVP, MVP...I shouted like crazy to support the best player of the league. I think I shouted louder than my two teenage boys. I completely agree he should be MVP this year. It would be only fair and a well deserved award to the BEST PLAYER of the NBA. Love you Kobe.
I've watched that game too, and what you are saying is complete and utter nonsense. Shame on you.

LEBRON CAN NOT BE AN MVP, CAUSE he is in a team that can not win 55 games this season, on sorry ass weak conf.
For that alone he can not be the MVP. cause this is an actual requirement according to MVP voters do some research.

I have watched the Lakers since the early 80's and Kobe is by far one of the most talented players ever to play the game! He deserves the MVP title this year because he has evolved as a player and a leader of this young Laker team. I currently live in Mesa, Arizona and still sport my Lakers shirts, my Championship Flags! GO LAKERS and don't HATE KOBE cause he is #1!!!!!
yo think a little bit..... the only player who deserves the MVP is tony parker or tim duncan

Parker missed to many games, TD same but he has not dominated this game this season, out the 3
Manu is the only playing at higher level, and he is on the bench.

Bench players do not get consider for MVPs

what kind of an answer is that?
Then You wonder why we said You win the taco.

Look if You are not on the court, or You are steping up while on the court, You are not the best.

San Antonio are the champs, we all respect that we all understand until they get knock out the playoff they are the team to beat.

But as MVP goes it doesn't work that way.
