George, great article as always. Every single article you've written during this Magic playoff run has been great. I'm a Magic fan and a Brian Shaw fan. The guy was all class as a player. To be honest I never remembered hearing about the tragedy that took his parents and sister from him. I'm really glad to see he's been able to carry on and do their memory proud. God bless Brian and his family.

What a wonderful, touching and insightful piece, George - as always. I love your writing style, but you've really gifted us with some wonderful pieces as of late. Thank you.

Brian Shaw has overcome much heartbreak and accomplished much. Yet there are bittersweet moments still... very understandable. I appreciate and celebrate his lack of regrets. God bless him and his family.

Yeah, boo-hoo, whatever. I hope we beat the snopt out of LA anyway, and grind Shaw's schemes into the dust.

Your opinion has been noted. We'll go ahead and fax your post to the Magic coaching staff a.s.a.p.!

Im sure your genius comments would be true inspiration and a genuine Honor to read. I mean, the eloquence in which you write, your words...so well constructed....sheer brilliance!

good to know some of the history of the lakers staff. many know of brian shaw. not about this awful thing that happened and how he had to step up to and be responsible, while still a young man. you can tell he has a lot of class.

'B. Shaw': Congratulations on another NBA Championship! You continue to inspire me, much like Charles & Barbara did during your St. Mary's days. I've got to see you soon and get my #20 Lakers jersey. It's the only one I've ever wanted. Until then, I will continue to pray for you, your family, and loved ones.
