Still wondering what in the world happened in the Cavs locker room between game 3 in Boston and the disgraceful performance by LeBron in Game 5. It seems that for whatever reason, the team fell apart. Not sure if Mike Brown was at fault but it is a shame that everyone, including coaching candidates, is sitting on their collective behinds and basing their futures on what LeBron will or won't do. It leaves the Cavs in a situation that they should not be in and in a large part, I blame LeBron.

$30 mill to coach a b ball team? ALL of the pro sport teams from the front office, on to the coaches and players, need to be put on regular everyday, normal, working stiff, salaries! Let them make their millions from endorsements.

I agree with Cheryl. LeBron James is not only holding the Cavs as hostage, he is holding the entire NBA as hostage. Not knowing if LeBron is going to stay with the Cavs or not, is making it difficult for any good future head coach for the Cavs to make a decision. That's probably why Izzo didn't take the job. Too many uncertainties.

this hire would be a mistake. isn't that why they fired Mike Brown-they wanted somebody with more experience?

Look for LA to do a sign and trade with the CAVs.
Trade Odom/Walton for James.
That way the Cavs at least get something in return. Otherwise, it's a big zero.
