Next thing you know, Smith will ship Howard to the Celtics for a bunch of stiffs, resign amidst the local protesting and retire to a comfortable position elsewhere in the NBA, inc.. The more things change in corporate sports, the more they stay the same....

I'm so sick of this superman crap with Dwight. As far as i'm concerned there is only 1 superman in the NBA, we already know who that is. This whole superman fasaud is just a cop out for the Magic letting Shaquille go and they havent been anything since. Jameer is the only thing close to a leader on that team, Dwight is not a leader, by far. He and the magic even got blasted on the Jim Rome show. Bottom line, until he get's atleast 1 NBA championship leading his team, cut the superman crap because just cause he won a dunk contest by "THROWING THE BALL IN THE RIM, NOT DUNKING IT" does not make him superman. At the end of the day, switch Dwight with Shaq, and I guarantee the Magic will win game 7, which they wont sunday, and get a championship!

Professional sports teaches our youth great ideals. Lesson 1. If you think your boss blows a deal, you immediately email everyone in your department, all corporate directors, friends and family your feelings how you felt your boss blew it.

Let's see what that get you in the real world.

Lesson 2 will be how professional athletes save their money during their sport career, then, transfer into the real world, and how that works. The example we will use today is Mike Tyson.

Any questions?

Bitter???

Btw, Shaw called himself superman. Nobody else gave him the nickname. He created it in Orlando, long before he ever won ANYTHING!

Thanks for the meaningless and empty guarantee. Spot on analysis.(sarcsasm)

In what other profession besides sports do the subordinates get paid WAY more than the boss? Since we pay based on value in this economy, who's more valuable? Stan or Dwight? Doesn't this make him Stan's de facto boss?

People complain about their bosses all the time, usually by cowardly whining to coworkers or family. Just because there isn't a press conference to announce your dissatisfaction to the world doesn't make you better than an NBA player.

Wow, they got blasted on the Jim Rome show? The fact that you know this says a lot about your intelligence...and it's not good.

So What has LeBron done to be crowned "King James"....translated the Bible?

Well, lets see how many games DH can win by himself. Oh, and tell DH to stop talking in the third party - it's funny, but sad at the same time. GO BUC'S

SVG will not make it into the new arena unless the Magic win the NBA Championship. As for Otis Smith, respectfully he's not too bright.
