Wolves improve to 4-1

After another energetic performance from his backups, Timberwolves coach Randy Wittman isn't sure who he wants to start in the regular season.

While this is only preseason it is nice to see the team winning. I look forward to seeing this young team jell.

But if they were 1-4 you wouldn't be saying that it means nothing, you wuld be saying here we go agian, they are garbage, etc. It would be negative, they win negative, they lose negative.

no real centers or shooting gaurds that are good, but over all they weill be much better than last year.

With a core of Al Jefferson, Mike Miller, and possibly Kevin Love (which by the way reminds me of the Celtics' famous Parrish/Bird/McHale trio), along with the explosive energy of Telfair and Foye, the Timberwolves should be a much better franchise than they were last year. I think that this will be their best post-KG season yet. They have a ton of young talent that only can go up and develop to be even better.

My prediction--
5 seasons from now, the Wolves will be one of the top title contenders in the league, along with Portland, New Orleans, and Orlando. Maybe throw in Cleveland and Miami. All these teams have very young, future all-star caliber players on their teams that within a few years will be the next class of NBA superstars (Portland--Oden/Roy, Hornets--CP3/West, and Orlando--Dwight Howard). By then, then, most of the current veteran superstars will either be retired or no longer a major factor in the league.

I like the talent of this young team. While they are not going to win any NBA championship this year they should be fun to watch. This team sort of reminds me of the twins during rebuilding years ... while they did not win a lot they were fun to watch.

Like Diehard Wolves fan I believe if they stay together they will be contenders in the near future.
