They competed - and, despite being outrebounded and outscored on the bench, it was a game they could (and should) have won. Yeah, the blazers aint' the Suns...but, I'm happy with it. Maybe Witt can whip some attitude into this team!

you're right, one thing I was happy about was that eveyrone was being very aggressive, especially KG. He knew the only one with the length and athleticsm to guard him was Aldridge,so he was putting up numbers on their big men all night. That game goes to show us that we need Nazr or another 6'11" dude because Madsen and Smith are both undersized and can't compete agianst teams with length, plus Madsen can't shoot free throws for his life. Plus,we need a 6th man, maybe Foye should start and James should get better minutes off the bench so he can be our primary scorer until McCants is 100%. Everytime the Blazers seemed to go on a run we seemed to get back in the game very easily, our offense was running vbery smooth and our defense didn't break down like I thought it was. I think Blount may be losing confidence though because he didn't seem to want the ball he just floated around the free throw line. Rebounding was our downfall that game, but everything else was good.
