Diaw, Bell could be back on a D'Antoni roster

Full story: Newsday

The Knicks were very much interested in acquiring both Raja Bell and Boris Diaw, but with Mike D'Antoni now in New York after a bitter divorce from the Suns, they were not going to come directly from Phoenix.

the spin continues. KNicks lose, they were never closer than 10 before the final score and the lead story is that D'Anton was cheered

@dbb: Did you watch the game? Twice in the last 4 minutes the Knicks were down by 3 points and had multiple possesions to further close the gap. On one occasion, Chandler was called for a charge and he fouled out. And on other occasions, both Duhon and N8 took wide open 3 pointers and missed.

And after half time, the knicks came within 5 points on a few occasions but the Suns were able to build the lead back to 10.

All this while the Knicks could not get their 3 point shooting going and they shot 5 for 37 or something like that.

I think it was a commendable effort on the road. They were again undermanned in that Jefferies did not play after halftime. Somedays the shots will just not go down, but what I liked is the Knicks kept fighting and were hanging around and had a reasonable chance at the end to pull off a win.

I am disappointed in Jefferies. Something tells me he is not going to be the answer for our defensive woes. I wish Donnie can pull of some front court changes to better help defensively. Camby would have been such a great fit here.

Also, I am not enamoured by Diaw and I hope Donnie is not looking at him to come to NY. Bell on the other hand will be a good fit and will fill our needs right now.

dbb, did you watch the game? The Knicks hung around and had a chance at the end, despite having a poor shooting night. This team is finally playing with heart.

I think the Knicks need to bring in Jarred Jordan to compliment Duhon at PG.

They may have lost but they are playing with a lot of heart, and hustling. That in itself is a big improvement over years past. I see improvement.

I don't think anyone is going to give Lee 10M, but I like his game, he's a good role player.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Scorpio

Be careful how you handle a certain someone today because their mood is little short of incendiary. They'll jump down your throat if you dare to disagree with them, and then accuse you of being a wimp if you decide that it would be better to agree with everything they say. You can't win! If they really get on your wick, you'll have to give them a piece of your mind, even if it is supposed to be the season of goodwill to all men. Huh!
