Gherardini would be a nice choice - a sign that the Knicks finally realize (and that particular failing pre-dates the Chicago-world of Master Thomas) a good, heady brand of ball is played elsewhere in the world.

If the Knicks are going to run D' Antoni's uptempo style, obviously, they are going to need a point guard. I shudder to think of Stephon Marbury still being around next year even though that's probably unlikely. Similarly unlikely is the notion of Jamal Crawford and/or Nate Robinson running this system.

Amazingly, I haven't read any Steve Nash-to-the-Knicks rumors. Probably wouldn't happen, but Phoenix is in bad cap shape and are closer to rebuilding with a slew of aging veterans. Plus, Nash lives in the city, in the Village. He'd be a natural.

stern called charles dolan. charles ordered sonny to do whatever stern recommended. thus the knicks now have walsh and d'antoni. it could work if sonny boy leaves them alone. maybe he'll be to busy ruinning newsday to bother them.

I believe that Nash, just like he said the other night during an interview, will follow the "D" to New York. He likes the fast break style, and is frustrated that Shaq can't keep up and is constantly in foul trouble.

alan,
Knick fans, the organization, the nba have
suffered enough.

David Stern has to bless the Knicks with the
# 1 overall pick this year.

Pat Riley purposely tanked the season by
sitting out dwayne wade & shawn marion.

The Knicks deserve & need Derrick Rose.
