Bummer! Great game though. Showed a lot of heart with Dwight out. Okay, I am a SVG apologist for sure, but sheesh! What else does Gortat need to show to get off the bench.
Sit Dwight! Let him rest. We are a lock to win the Southeast. Let's not jeopardize the long-term for the short-term of Dwight playing dinged up. |

This loss will actually get the Magic more kudo's in the national media than if they had won.
This team has determination, drive, and a do-not-quit attitude that some previous Magic squads have not shown. When DH went down, we could have just mailed it in and got on the plane. But they showed grit and a fighting spirit. Had they won, it would have been: "Yeah, they're a good team and winning on the road." But though losing, yet not quitting; they showed the kind of heart that Champions are made of. Now the media will focus on how they almost won, against the odds and a top-tier Western Conference opponent, WITHOUT their star. I expect--and predict--this team to go deep come spring. |

This is the beginning of the end of the Magic. After eluding injury for 4 seasons, the bug has finally caught up with Howard. With him out of the lineup, teams will be feasting on the Magic like a pack of wolves circling its prey.

Champions??? LOL |

Au contrere, HapDawg Superman will retire (after 17 seasons, 4 NBA Finals rings, and 3 MVP trophies) having NEVER missed a game in his career. Book it. |

Oops! Sorry Marty.... Forgot you were a big Bobcats fan, without a freakin' clue what the word means. My bad.... |

It's a shame to get beat on a layup after fighting so hard to get the lead back. In that situation you would rather force a guy to take a tough shot, and then if he makes it you just tip your hat to him and move on.
But still it was a good job by the Magic to make a game of it after losing Dwight Howard. Gortat did a good job tonight with 8 points and 6 rebounds in just 13 minutes. The bench scored 30 tonight and continues to improve with each game. Hopefully Dwight can go tomorrow night, but it may be better to sit him out for a game or two until he is right. But the bench players continue to get valuable playing time hich will turn out to be beneficial later in the season. Right now the defense needs to improve. They are getting back into that relaxation mode while relying too much on their scoring abilities. The focus and intensity needs to come back. Especially if Dwight is going to be out for a game or two. |

Here is my prediction for the Magic's next 4 games:
Utah = loss Golden State = loss San Antonio = loss L.A. Lakers = loss |

Like Nostradamus can predict the future. Please..... |

Predicting the outcome of NBA basketball games is not gonna get it done here. |

I predict Grant Hill will make the last shot to beat the Orlando Magic in the last 2.6 seconds of the game. Just a guess. |

Gortat was fun to watch tonight |

As i have said in the past, the Orlando will never be a Champion in the NBA without a power forward. The game against the Phoenix Suns is a classic example. I'm looking forward if they will play against Boston Celtics and Detroit and Toronto.

It's either they will have to make Turkoglu as their sixth man or move him to the off guard position and let Tony Battie play the power forward position. They also need a another point guard who can really play. They can trade Reddick and Brian Cook to Portland for Jarryd Bayless.

Maybe a young guy like Courtney Lee. |

Gortat must get minutes. He has proven that he has the ability to help this team win, but he is still so raw.
CLee was a great pick, wtg Otis. One PF away from elite. |

There couldn't be a more fitting end to a game! The perfect alibi from Hedo (it was a defensive misunderstanding.) LOL.
Grant is the Man. Take that suckers! I can see the future as JJ comes back and whups up the Magic with last second 3's! Which will then be explained by SVG as,(it was a defensive misunderstanding.) A side note: There was a meeting with Steve Kerr and Otis Smith at lunch and serious convesation regarding JJ. We can only hope that something comes out of this and the Suns, who are a great fit for JJ will work something out. Utah - Magic lose GS - Magic win SanAn- Magic lose Lakers -(no contest) Magic lose. :) |

Food on Shirt refuses to play JJ. Who's ordering Food on Shirt to do this? The racist OS.. The acting GM JN (not an NBA talent). Or does it come from Super Juice himself.

Yea, Grant!

we can't keep pace with the celtics and cavs like this..you can't give away games like this! thats why i am still skeptical of orlando
