Some may say preseason isn't a big deal, but all the starters are playing the teams play to win, its not like football preseason. Sure the intensity will be up once the season starts but I am very glad to see the Pacers winning 3 games in a row! We haven't seen that in a long time!

JWO, maybe you should go celebrate, with that attitude, don't let anyone stop you. Your team is undefeated, in first place, and on a winning streak.

And celebrate till Oct 30th, thats when the nightmare starts.

This is coming from a guy who likes a team that has Stephen Jackson as the captain. What a joke. Celebrate your postseason you had last year, but our supposed nightmare is your reality with Jackson on that team.

Say what you will about Jackson, but at least he produces on the court.(Tinsley?)
I think the change of venue has done him some good, I am just sorry our Pacers organization had to figure it all out the hard way.

That man got arrested for shooting a gun at the one of the trashiest strip clubs in Indianapolis. He is trouble. Give him some time and the same thing will happen in Cali...

The change in coaching philosophy I think will make this a more enjoyable team to watch on the court. Diogu is going to be a nice addition to the team.

I think this year's edition will be an exciting, up tempo team.

I like what I see so far.

I expect the Pacers to be in the playoffs with 45 - 48 regular season wins.

The team has three captians, he is one of them. Look, we don't see how he reacts everyday with his players, if anything, this whole thing with him started was because he had Artests back. Plus, I won't second guess Nelson on his decision.

As far as Jackson, he probably is our third option, we have few other guys and he meshes well with the team.

I just simply enjoy the game and I don't spend too much time worried about their character of the field. If the sport in itself doesn't hold character an issue, then I am in no position to judge. If say the NBA has a 3.0 requirement, with a college degree just like other jobs in the US, Dunleavy and Murphy would be the superstars of the league.

So, yes, I do support the warriors, in which Jackson is a small piece of the team and I don't care what any one of them do off the field or what Kobe does or should I say who Kobe does off the field.

And the O'Neil character that you are supporting, wait till the season starts, wait till the Indy season is in tank, and the trade deadline approaches, see how happy he is with all the money he makes.

Diogu seems to possess alot of talent but he needs to turn and face the basket, catch and shoot, and lose some weight. He also has to play today like tomorrow doesn't exist!

Confidence is also an issue, but if he can learn how to play smarter, and not rely on his bulk on the block he'll go alot farther, and maybe even become a powerful player to deal with.

Go Ike!!!

The article is right yes he does need to get better at reading the defense, but with his youth the fact that he is not know around the league would make him a great started next to Jermaine. Other than Shaq most of the centers in the league look like J.O. Move him to center, let Foster back him up and Troy Murphy back up Diogu. J.O. gets the double team, he can pass outside or go to Diogu like he used to do with Brad Miller. Thats what we're missing, TWO down low scorers in the game at same time. Also let Granger and Mike D. fight for the starting spot rather than play one or the other at the 2 spot, might put a fire up both their bottoms and get them to drive to the basket a couple times. We need to get to the foul line more often and driving makes that happen. Go Pacers I'm sure they have discussed these things since last year
REALLY happy in Oakland

Sorry but you still have Dunleavy, Murphy and Diogu. The trade nightmare will continue for the Pacers until they're purged form your roster. For you sake, just hope it doesn't take as long to figure it out as we took. And Stephen Jackson? Anyone having to play in purgatory (Indy)should be given the benefit of the doubt. Out of the black and into the blue. Golden State is a slightly different environment than the midwest don't you think? Amazing how one changes when happy going to work everyday. Enjoy your winter - you'll be watching the warriors once again from a distance as Indy stays home again in April.
