No offense to our friends from Sacramento, but I would have been VERY disappointed if we had lost (or even with a close win!).

That being said, What about Jameer? HOLY CRAP!

8 of 12 from the field (5 of 5 from 3pt arc), perfect from free throw line, 4 rebounds, 11 assists, 2 steals, NO TURNOVERS, 23 points in 26:22?

WOOF!

The Sacramento Kings tobacco free television ad : Hi my name is (insert players name here).

The Orlando Magic are on FIRE! Finally we have developed a team that is capable of winning it all (dare i say). The record breaking night shows the heart and character of a developing team. The Magic are capable of things Orlando fan's aren't capable of conjuring up. This team's ceiling is higher then a kite on a windy summer day. There are many reasons we can point to to explain the turnaround, but one player stands above all thus far; Jameer Nelson. Yes Nelson. He is RIDICULOUSLY good. Dwight don't be jealous! you are still the best player on the team, and probably ONE, if NOT BEST PLAYER IN THE GAME! It's just that if you watch the Magic you understand my point. Jameer all i want to say is PLEASE keep this up, you really are appreciated by TRUE MAGIC FANS! Thank YOU!

Folks what a game !!! Now this is how to go out there and crush a poor team. Yes I realize the Magic relaxed a bit on defense, but overall I think they did a decent job controlling the other players on Sacramento. Kevin Martin got his points tonight..mostly by doing his Reggie Miller jump into the defender typical bs and drawing the foul.

But 23 three pointers in one game! Then they had to fight off Dwight inside. I don't care who the Magic played tonight..they would have won handily.

I expect them to bring more intensity and effort on defense into the game against the Lakers. They will need it guarding Kobe Bryant.

I have a feeling that if the Magic beat the Lakers that they will have a 4 and 0 roadtrip.

And besides Jameer and C.Lee, another guy that has really stepped it up is J.J. Redick.

But really the team as a whole seems to be firing on all cylinders right now. This team is literally like a machine folks. And they are simply destroying anything in their path.

I think in the game against the Lakers it will be even more important to contain Derek Fisher.

Yes we all know Kobe is going to get his...especially when he jacks up like 37 shots or so. The key will be to control the other guys....most importantly D-Fish.

WOW! What a game. I know that the Magic didn't play much defense but they really didn't need to with that shooting. Save the defense intesity to slow down Kobe on Friday! And way to go Nelson, I always knew you had it in you! Keep up this All Star play!

The thing that really sucks is that Nelson will not make the All Star Team. Neither will Lewis or Turkoglu.

The only chance those guys have is if SVG winds up coaching the team. And to do that the Magic must have a better record at the All Star break than the Cavs. Doc Rivers can't be the coach this year because he coached last year. So the Magic just need to beat out the Cavs for the best record in the East to give Van Gundy the coaching duties for the Eastern Conference.

Not only can they "hit that 3 pointer", they did so tonight with a higher percentage from WITHIN the 3pt line!

49 for 81 from 2pt land (60.5%---which STILL isnt bad!)

23 for 37 from 3pt land (62.2%----which is incredible!).

To put it another way, the 23 three-point shots made tonight accounted for just about HALF of our total points tonight (or 69 of our total 139 points for the game)!

That actually sounds about right... Dont get too delusional Magic fans, I dont want to see us be like Boston fans. I cant help but feel so vindicated with Jameer Nelson's play. I'd wish everyone who didnt think he had talent like this to not watch the Magic anymore, but unfortunately we'd lose most Orlando fans and their'd prolly be more Cleveland folks watching Magic games. But nah, it's cool, forgive and forget, stand behind Nelson and the Magic. They can go all the way this season! And well, if not... There's 3 whole more seasons after this one with the same Magic roster- Dwight is 23... Jameer is still only 27... Lee 23... Reddick young, just getting into NBA finesse.. Rashard and Hedo can keep this high play through 2012 np being under 30 and like experienced vets already... Pietrus 26 and still learning Magic system of play while somehow managing to best offensive SG and tallest, most athletic defender.

You have a pick of one player to build your team around and practically every GM in the league would take Howard. In fact, I could safely say every GM would take Howard first. That is a hands down no brainer decision. Those players are winners but Shaq made Kobe and Wade champions, same thing with Howard. If there was a draft of every player in the league Howard would be the first player picked.

Dont look now but Dwight is hitting his free throws too. I cant get over how awesome this team is playing right now. Orlando is the hottest team in the league. They may not have the best record but theyre playing better than anyone.
