Oh look, Kobe won a championship without Shaq
Yeah, but he had Gasol, Odom and Ariza who was playing well above what he was known to be capable of. The casting for todays NBA championship goes like this. At least 2 top 20 go to super stars, 1 reliable side kick, 4 complimentary role players w/o egos who sacrifice their game for good of the team, 1 beloved veteran who has paid has played his heart out for years w/o winning championship, 1 break out star who is in the final year of their contract, who will bolt to a new team with a fat contract, and never play at such a level again, 1 player who contributed early, but got hurt who everybody feels sorry for cause he has to watch from the bench as his team plays better w/o him, 1 person who takes the aforementioned injured players spot, thereby creating controversy over who starts next year, 3 players who get mop up duty, and 1 injured/not good enough to play guy.

Kobe was criticized for not winning a championship without Shaq on his team. He was heavily criticized to say the least.

I just looked at and the star player who won a championship with the least amount of talent around him of the last 30 years is:

Kobe Bryant

funny how things play out

Couldn't get along with Kobe, couldn't get along with Wade, even though he was on the teams which won championships, unlike his mediocre time in Phoenix. So now, Cleveland is going to pay him big bucks to not get along with James, in the hopes his aging body and even older mind is going to get them a championship?
Fans in Cleveland must be truly desperate.
Shaq never had a problem with D-Wade... And whoever said that 04 squad team would have won a championship is delusional. They was fun bu would not have competed for a title. And stop hating, Wade even said if Shaq was on this team they would be title contenders. Shaq wasn't worthless during that championship run he was the reason we made it out the first round(Remember 30-20 against Chicago).

i want shaq to be traded to cleveland, because Lebron James can't win a championship ,because he don't have a teammate that he can rely like Mo,big Z delonte and wallace.
