Should the Detroit Pistons open the shooting guard competition?
Earlier this offseason when I was lobbying the Detroit Pistons to sign Tracy McGrady , something I believed would be an advantage was the potential for increased competition among perimeter players with something to prove.

I believe they should....I feel that rip is good but not 2005 good. At the same time, he doesnt show future potential. His game is slowing decreasing. I honestly feel Tracy should start, regardless of how he did last season...If he's even close to hundred percent, T-mac is going to set the tone on offense. Sources say that T-mac is starting to shape up to his old self again. Granted he is 31, but would u rather have a two-time scoring champ and a player who once dominated the nba or a 32 year-old rip who can even create shots for himself. U take your pick. To add, I dont wanna here nothing about injuries because the truth is that they are both injury proned.........
