Mark Jackson has proven that he can be an easy guy to talk to on the broadcasts. His insights are not as incisive as one would hope for but he may be able to learn as he goes and earn the respect of the players. The players need to have consistency and trust something Jackson may provide. I think we just have to trust Walsh with all his wisdom and hope for the best.

Just because a guy is well spoken doesn't mean he can coach in the NBA. If jackson had been an assistant somewhere maybe..

I agree with you on that Jerry. Even though he has no experience. Right now thats not even necessarily what the Knicks players need. We need coach that is a great communicator. Not a divisive cutthroat coach that cant get through to his players. Jackson is still the best for the job although i like Avery Johnson too.

the knicks should sign the celtic assistant coach.i believe their primary decison is gm first then coach.mark jackson and kenny smith would be nice coach and gm but mr.walsh is not that liberal to sign two first timers at these positions.the gm choice is the key which direction the knicks are going positive force or entertaining folley.paul silas name not mentioned an interesting possibility.

If Born Again Jackson coaches the Knicks, will he run around like an A*S*S, doing the helicopter, every time the team scores a basket. Bring back Zeke the Snake.

Thank god I don't have to listen to that Rick Carlsile guy as an anouncer anymore. HE SUCKED ass, HE WAS BORING, and Rick Carlsile is defenitally the worst NBA anouncer since Bill Walton!!!!!!!!!!

Now I say the networks need to get back to the good old boys in the booth (AKA The New York Grove, AKA Mark Jackson & Jeff Van Gundi).
