since Shaq takes up so much of the salary, and performs under expectation , what will the heat do if he has another year when he does not play like a 20,000,000. dollar a year player? D Wade is going to his best years, and shaq is obviously finishing.....

they need to atleast make an attept to trade some of these expiring contracts to another team for one proven third shooter, I believe if we do that the fans will calm down and the team we start the year off right! We still believe in you guys!

When healthy, Jason W is a very good PG, and his contract expires this year. Walker is the garbage problem, and next year he'll make 9 millions. WOW!! Can we send him to play in Cuba with Fidel Castro?

Like I've been saying....this is D-Wright's shot. Remember - so many times the deal you don't make is better than the deal you would've made. This summer appears to have been that time. One more thing, because of the current Heat state of being financially strapped - now is the time for the scouts to beat the bushes to find a gem or two.

These atheletes make WAY too much money for just playing basketball. There needs to be a major salary cap since these "atheletes" make too much money, which then allows them to buy their way out of trouble, just like OJ.

Lessen their pay. Let them make their other money thru endorsement deals and becoming rappers/actors.

I think that the heat don´t have any guys that Dwyane ....He is one of the top scorer in the nba..I don´t think that Shaq will carry the team wiht 34 years, I tihnk guys wih Jason .Antoine and Udonis an Dorell can contribute to help Dwyane.I think that the heat must re-sign James and Smush will start in the lineup.

If Wright can lock down the starting small forward spot, we'll be fine.

I SWEAR YOU PEOPLE IN SOUTH FLORIDA ARE SOME OF THE MOST TWO FACED, AND DISLOYAL SPORTS FANS I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. YOU GUYS SPEND SO MUCH TIME WHINING AND COMPLAINING ABOUT EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN. IT WAS SO FUNNY TO SEE ALL THOSE FAKE, WAGON JUMPIN PHONIES CELEBRATING THE HEAT WHEN THEY WON THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP WITH THE AMOUNT OF CRAP THAT'S BEEN SAID ABOUT THE HEAT BEING A REALLY BAD TEAM. ALOT OF YOU FAKE FANS ONLY HAVE GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THE HEAT AND THE DOLPHINS WHENEVER THEY'RE WINNING GAMES. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE RAIDERS COME TO TOWN ON SEPT 30 WITH CULPEPPER AT QUARTERBACK AND WHOOP THE DOLPHINS THE SAME WAY JACKSONVILLE WHOOPED EM 62-7 REMEMBER THAT GAME? HA, HA, HA. GO JETS!

I think Dorrell will step up in a big way. The kid has the fire and is becoming a solid defender - remember he held our boy Kobe to 16 points last year, not an easy thing to do. Wade believes and so do I.

Shaquille is not worth $20,000,000. There will be no championship this coming season. Look out Shaq, Boston has revamped.

Can we please play Dorell Wright?? We have spent all offseason searching for a PG & a SF and we have a guy who we won't even test out. We needed a PG some years back and we passed on Player of the Year Jameer Nelson in order to take Dorell Wright. How did we think so highly about him then but not so much now when we haven't even played him? PLEASE PLAY DORELL WRIGHT !!!

How's bout we get a little proactive and extend Dorrell at a bargain price before he is deemed to expensive next year. It is very probable that Dorrell will recieve at least what Kappono got if he recieves serious playing time this season. There's a reason why the Heat recieved a call from every team about Dorrell after the draft. If we let this man hit the restricted free agent market we will very much regret it.

I think that you should cut Shaq's salary in half and pay him what he is worth.

exactly. if things don't pan out this year, shaq and walker should offer to renegotiate their salary in the next coming years or be threatened with trade or cut and bought out.

Heat doesn't have any $$ to spend because Precious Pat has it all tied up in useless washed-up has beens that he doesn't have to teach how to play in the NBA. Time for Precious Pat to pack up his mirror, his hair gel, and his Armani suits and take his oh, so cool persona on a long hike.

Amen Heckler. Fans down here are quick to jump on the bandwagon when things are going well, look at the Marlins. And its always the hispanics, who know nothing about the team, who do it. Sorry Im telling the truth people.

Wade is right. Dorell has to step up and be that thrid scorer the Heat needs. If Wright can manage to score up to 15 ppg I think we'll be fine.

Are you stupid? These guys that you're complaining about brought us a championship just 14 months ago. I'm a Dolfan and have been waiting for 35 years for them to win something. I'm glad Pat brought all of these older guys in here to win and they did.

The only reason we lost this year, just like 3 years ago, is because Wade was hurt. If he's healthy this year we'll win it all again.
