There are 34 comments on the South Florida Sun-Sentinel story from Apr 29, 2007, titled Bulls used speed, energy to capture four straight over Heat. In it, South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that:

MIAMI All that was left was the epilogue to a title reign. Everything else had been ceded to the Chicago Bulls in this lopsided four-game opening-round playoff disaster that came to an end with Sunday's 92-79 ...

THIS JUST IN:

Rick Barry was arrested by Miami undercover policeman trainee Shaquille O'Neal for carrying a hand made sign in South Beach that read:

"Will teach free throws for a part in the next Shaquille movie called:'Huge Black Guys Who are Often Overweight and Injured and Waste Time Trying to Be Undercover Policemen -- Instead of Learning How To Shoot Free Throws -- Can't Jump At All Anymore or Make Essential Free Throws."

It was reported that O'Neal handcuffed Barry and attempted to slide Barry in the back seat of the patrol car but missed badly and instead bounced Barry off the roof of the car. Eyewitnesses to the incident said that the handcuffed Barry remarked: "there you go, nice try, you are in typical playoff form."

Barry, who has been lobbying for years to teach O'Neal how to shoot free throws said of his arrest and impending trial for vagrancy: "if the free throws are bricks, you must acquit."

Have faith Miami Heat....... your fans will be on here soon enough to defend your pitiful performance. They will have all the right excuses as to why you lost this series, or should I say got swept. They are just waiting to swallow the crow stuck in their throats.....

"Be careful what you ask for."-Shaquille O'Neal, in response to the Bulls stating that they wanted a playoff rematch with the Heat.

You were saying?

Perhaps you won't wait until March to take the season seriously. But that's what he's been doing for the past 4 years...

The heat are exposed for what they really are.....a bunch of frauds. Last year was a fluke.....they only won because they paid the refs off. This team is old and tired and BORING.....the sweep by the bulls was NICE!

15 strong?

It was a nice visit here in Miami.

Off to Detriot for those Pistons.

We were 3-1 against the Pistons this year.

It seems just like yesterday that we open the season against the Heat, and trash their ass.

Remember, we have six trophies and the Heat has only one!

Shaq Daddy, where were you?

At least you have hot cheerleaders.

Mr. Riley, your better days are behind you.

Mr. Wade, see you next year!

Mr. Shaq, you need to get below 300lbs.

Mr. Posey, you are still a dirty player. Are you related to John Stark?

Do they get clean white underwear with those shirts in the stands? I would crap in my pants also for what I paid for tickets and what I saw on the floor.

Miami must trade some players, for next year, they have to build a team around Wade,Haslem, Kapono and maybe dorell! Zo, Walker, Payton and Shaq are very good players, but if the Heat want to win a title in the next few years they must trade them. Trade against younger players like Gerald Wallace from the Bobcats. If they don`t do/can that, I think they won`t be able to win a title in the next 3 years.
Miami Heat forever!!!

Good. No more talk of Wade or Shaq for the rest of the year. Time to rebuild and bring in some foreign players to this team.

Congrats to the Bulls.

Clearly the league has changed from teams being successful with height (big) and one or two dominant players to teams with more balanced scoring complemented by speed, energy and hustle. I must say these new teams (Chicago, Phoenix, Dallas, and good lord Golden State) are much more fun to watch than the big man dominated teams of the 90s. Can you imagine a Heat team with four James Poseys and a 2006-like healthy Dwayne Wade? It would be reckless at first but once they got on the same page, they would be hard to keep up with.
