Walker has been nagging the franchise for some time now, and now the built-in excuse. Would someone please put this guy on a charter boat out of Miami already. Ok, that was a low-blow, I admit. But the injury nagged him all summer, and it is sickening to have to read about it day to day with the season looming in the near future. He should have to ride a stationary bike courtside during games with a dunce cap on. How else will he entertain anyone. Is he going to launch threes off one tippy foot? So much for his blazing first step.

Ira is already coming down on Dorell after just one exhibition game. Wait for 2-3 months before the under the bus dump - please. This team, especially with Wade out, will need a ton of time to settle down to any consistent style. Just let the kid play!

These guys make millions, and then they always complain about stupid injuries that the regular person would have to deal with in our own small scale jobs. Total softies.. Sorry but I call it like I see it.

Jason Taylor, Zack Thomas, and Trent "the Veteran Quaterback" Green didn't get much preseason playing time. I did wonders for them it can do w wonders for the Heat.

as much as I like Shaq, he is one lazy mf'er, if it was up to him the playoffs would start today & skip all the post season and regular season - it doesn't work that way, well for the $20 million the Heat is paying him he should have his lazy butt out there shagging balls too - he needs to play in post season for conditioning and timing, I'm sick of his attitude where he thinks he can "just turn it on" whenever he wants - those days are long gone. Same goes for the other slackers. You & I would cook dinners too for 20 million big ones.

Ur a complete moron. Everytime Shaq has missed regular season games it has been to an obvious on the court injury. A guy rolling his knee or ankle or something along those lines, how does that make him lazy?

BTW moron, the heat were 8 games under .500 in the games that they had Wade but no Shaq and they were 17 games above .500 in games that they had Shaq and no Wade. Hmmm, yea, I can see why u r coming down on the guy. The whole game changes when the big guy is in the middle, he commands an automatic double team or collapsing guard defense which leaves people open for shots all day. Watch a game before making stupid comments.

what is it with Shaq? It seems everytime I read about him in the news he's got something wrong. It must be nice to get Millions and not have to do anything. Hmmm! Wimp!!!

Clearly a ploy. These overfed overpaid lazy louts don't want to play and don't care about winning. They've got their ring and their guarnateed contracts so whadda ya gonna do about it? If Riley thinks they should play then he ought to kick their lazy butts out onto the court. Last time I looked, Riley was the coach and team president.

3 days of camp and all but one starter can play?
I understand Wade but looks like Shaq is up to his old tricks! He runs up and down the court 5 times and pulls, strains, or sprains something!

I love Shaq, but come on man, toughen up a little and play through your pain to set an example!

Chauncey Billups and Tayshaun Prince both played over the Summer for the U.S. team and they were still out there for Game of the preseason.

At this rate, we'll be lucky to a a .500 team.

Go heat.

They should allow a seasoned veteran like Chris Quinn to sit out these preseason games so as not to tire him out for when it counts. Make sure he's ready for the playoff run. He's gonna dominate!

Riley's just playing games too. He's got enough rings, just keeping payroll down so his financial reward goes up.
Forget about another championship, another first round playoff loss.

O'neal is not an athlete. His size has supported his court playing but his skills are premature. Aver pt at the free throw line are not acceptable. This man gets paid tooo much for not producing. he lacks attention.

Let's have one-on-one....
