Is there any chance that the Timberwolves could ever win a game that's on local t.v.?

If you go to ATDHE.net you can see most Timberwolves' games. The picture isn't the best, but it's better than nothing.

I was only able to see the last few minutes on the site above, but those minutes were exciting to see after having watched so many blown games. Nice to see our guys execute down the stretch. It's time this team gets it together and not always get a bad case of the "stupids" in crunch time.

Odd game! The first halve was competitive, but not particularly good basketball. The second halve started out with some of the worst "scuds" possible, and the Cav's gradually pulled out to a 14 point lead. I shut off the TV (Direct TV NBA package, in case you wondered how I watched) and went to dinner.

Thank god for DVR. Love and Ridnour both hit a couple of "nothing but net" 3 pointers, and the wolves FINALLY tried to play a little defense. The Cav's only got a few good looks, and missed those, and otherwise got pushed deep into the shot clock before clanging a few off the rims themselves. I think the Cav's only scored about 9 points in the last 8:30 of the game.

Jamison said that he got fouled on the last play, and Byron Scott was calling for one from the bench, but it would have been a travesty if one had been called. The contact was minimal and largely created by Jamison jumping in to Beasley, who had his arms straight up. Someone on the Cav's had a chance at a contested, off balance tip, but it rolled off.

Nothing pretty about this game. Two currently lousy teams, but a "W" is still a "W", and we'll take it.

PS. Ridnour's best game in quite some time. Flynn played better as well. Beasley (early) and Love (late) was just enough. Everyone else either struggled, or was pretty much a non-factor. Wes and Ridnour both hit the boards on the defensive end more than we are used to seeing, each being "johnny on the spot" and getting a few intermediate length rebounds.

Another non-televised game! On a weekend!(Of course we got to see their miserable road trip televised!) Worst coverage ever for the Wolves. Get rid of Jim Peterson and Tom Hannaman (or whatever his name is) and maybe people will watch! I've never seen a commentating duo lavish praise on the opposition like those two, and actually root for calls to go AGAINST the Wolves. They need to get kicked to the curb. They are awful. I cringe and mute the TV whenever there IS a televised game thanks to those two.

One of these days, these boys will grow up to be basketball players.
