I hope they got this "winning feels good" thing out of their system so we can get back to fantasising about our off-season.

We are going to draft 6th, or worse (depending on if anybody "jumps us", so the outcome of these games doesn't really matter. They might as well go ahead and win them and develop some good feelings about themselves. Who knows, Stern might even rig the ping pong balls our way for once, since he has occasionally rigged it for others.

Truth be told, I don't really know if it makes any difference whether we pick second of sixth. Griffin looks like an absolute lock at 1, and he would look to be a future stud. Everybody after that has some blemishes. Some will turn into stars, and some will turn into duds. Most will fall somewhere between.

The wolves need a center and a point guard, especially a point guard. Aldrich (if he enters the draft) and Lawson would be a nice combo to get, but Lawson isn't going to be there with the pick we get from Miami, so some kind of trade up is going to have to take place.

KLove gets another double-double! What a great trade this has turned out to be! The T-Wolves have very little to brag about, so focus upon KLove is the best a fan can hope for I guess. Now, if the team can eithe rdraft or make helpful trades this off-season ...

Maggette sat out last night. The game was real close in the first half. The wolves began pulling away in the second half though.

Been watching Love since he was in 6th grade. Saw him play against Ronny Turiaf (now a Warrior) in an exhibition game in Portland, Oregon. Love had completed his freshman year in high school, Turiaf had finished his senior year at Gonzaga and was WCC POY. Even as a freshman in high school, Love did well against the WCC POY, scoring 15 points (if my memory serves me correctly) and a number of rebounds. (Turiaf had better stats, but it was still a very impressive performance for a 15 year old kid against a college POY. (Ben Holland was not kidding when he said Love could have started for UCLA when he was a high school frreshman.) So I was quite interested to see how Love would now do compared to Turiaf. Looks like he has gained on Ronny quite a bit.

Nice game - Bassy was fun to watch in that fourth quarter - it seemed he couldn't miss. Love is turning into a beast on the boards and Gomes was his usual solid self. Watching Miller is like watching a whirling dervish. He seems to have bruises everywhere and I'll bet he is one big ACHE after a game.

Keep it up, guys! Only three to go - let's win out and to heck with the ping pong balls!

Second-best road record in the Western Conference among non-playoff-bound teams! Do up the plaque now! "Somethin's gotta give!"

If they rig this one I see The Sooner ending up in Oklahoma.

Give him more time and he will continue to get better. Don't forget he came out of HS and would be a rookie THIS YEAR if he went to Louisville 4 years.

Bassy has pretty good stats if you look at it that way.

Bassy had a tough time starting out in the East as a teenager - and didn't have the greatest role model in Cousin Stephon - give him some time. He is starting to play like a big leaguer. He just needs to mature in the game as well as a human being. He got in his own way the first few years out. He's still just a kid! They can't all be O.J. Mayo and Derrick Rose.
