tonight we saw Pat Mills PROVE he belonged not only in the NBA, but amongst the best 2 point guards in the world.... he took Paul and Williams on and succeed on more than one occasion. The NBA should come calling for the 08/09 draft.

Also... note: Wade ran off the court after the game without shaking hands with any of the Aussies. sign of disrespect? who knows. but what kind of sportsmanship and example is that?

Australia has officially proven they are a team to be taken serious.

I really hope people start considering us as a medal contender.. we have had a very good lead up to the olympics so far and i wouldnt advise sleeping on us. we were leading argentina by 19 for much of that to lose by 4 when bogut was hurt. we also completely obliterated Iran (not that its a difficult task as such) and New Zealand and split a series with Croatia. I have to admit i was surprised by how close the game was and in the pit of my gut i was always expecting that run the US would have that would blow it past the 20 point margin and then we would lose composure but all in all hung tough. I think the US should be fairly happy with the win as far as I'am concerned as I'd be surprised if they have such a hard time behind the 3 point line as they did in this game. They beat a team which is amoungst the tallest in the competition and i think that should quell atleast some of there fears being undermanned in the post.

the Redeem Team seemed to have turned to individuals at times. Apparently Carmelo has a gold medal parade already planned.......... and wade ran off the court against Australia without acknowledging the Aussies... where's the respect for the game?!!!!!! silver for USA could be in the cards...... believe the hype.
