We beat the last place Bucks of the Central Division and everyone ran around like we won a playoff round.
Malik Rose is a nice guy. If we have to rely on him to hit top of the key jumpers at key times we are in worse trouble thatn we already are.
Jamal Crawford is one or two poor shooting nights away from dropping into the 30's as a season shooting percentage. And he is the number one; and at times ; the only option to score.
In the Portland game recently he shot 6-27 and had no rebounds and no free throw attempts. And this is our leader and star ???
Isiah Thomas and his staff are even dumber than our players that Isiah brought in that nobody else wanted.

Malik Rose plays with all out intensity EVERY TIME he steps out on the floor. The point isn't that he is going to win games with his jumper, but that he is going to win games by his intensity, which WILL rub off on the younger players. The problem is Isiah won't give him 15 minutes a nite to play.

Jamal's percentage is low, but to his defense a lot of shots that he takes are last second shot ones where nobody else can get a shot off. He is the most athletic guy on the team and needs someone to offload the scoring responsiblility at clutch junctures. Gordon from Indiana would be a perfect complement to Craw and would allow Craw to play the point or off guard. Gordon's clutch shooting from downtown and his ability to take the ball to the hole make him the number 1 pick for the Knicks. He will be an impact player from the get go. No waiting here he is ready to play in the NBA.

Malik should teach the younger players how to play defense. He jumps out faster than anyone on that team to cover the 3 pt. line. He anticipates where the ball is going to go. I have seen him play and while he is probably slower than most of the Knicks his intensity and ANTICIPATION of where the ball is going make him the top all around defender on the team.

Isiah has proven that he is excellent in the mid range draft. This year he may get an opportunity to pick a top 5. Gordon is number one. Then they need a shot blocker. I haven't seen this guy from Conneticut play..Habeet? but he is 7'3'' tall and has a ton of blocked shots. If the Knicks can somehow wrangle another pick under 10 they may be able to get him. That would be huge to get Gordon and Habeet. The Knicks would have all the pieces then and could pick up other defensive minded players with the 2nd round pick, Dorsey perhaps, and then pick up someone in free agency who could be an immediate down low defender. To do this they would have to give up Randolf. He is a very good player but lacks the defensive skills the Knicks need. Curry is the best scorer down low so they can't trade him. He needs someone to spell him, Thabeet would be a perfect fit. Dorsey rips down boards and has the defensive ferocity the Knicks crave.
