Hubie Brown: Who plays center for the Bulls?

This was Hubie Brown's first reaction to the Ben Wallace trade: "The Bulls have to be excited that they unloaded the contract." "My second reaction was: Who is going to play center?" Brown recalled. Full Story

Glad someone is willing to tell it like it is. Paxson sucks and he is being exposed. He has been the GM of the Bulls for five years and all we have to show for it is one playoff series win and a shitty team. Good Job Pax!

Ok hubie, i like most of it. I do disagree however on tomas. We made a trade for him to get more playing time. The first two games after the trade he was starting to play like we hoped. Next thing you know he is back on the becnh for jokim "i trip over my own feet" noah and Drew "good but not great" gooden. I hated this trade from the second i heard it because 6 guards won't win anything and they said tomas would get more time but looking at teh trade the brought someone in that was gonna eventually start. BULLS WHAT ARE YOU THINKING

Don't worry Hubie, the rest of the world is wondering the same thing...nobody has a clue what Paxson is doing, including himself...he realizes he screwed this all up by not trading one of his overrated youngsters for a proven MVP type player...the players on the Bulls are so fragile all that trade talk screwed with their minds...plus, they really aren't as great as Paxson has obsessed about...so here we are with a roster full of pretty much garbage with the exception of a couple players...and to top things off, Paxson fires Skiles and promotes Boylan, a coach nobody listens too...Bulls players laugh at him when he turns his back...so yeah, we wonder right along with ya Hubie...

bowling or skiles don't win games...contrary to what this organization thinks...its the players. and these players...well, maybe paxson needs a point guard who can dribble, dish off and get everyone involved. we are stuck with himlich, little ben. i like the new guys and kids, but who will take kirk with that big salary? jerry reinsdorf is stuck with this mess, no me. i'm rooting for another nba team...michael jordans team the hornets. bulls are done.

Hubie Brown needs to disappear. Trading Ben Wallace doesn't leave the Bulls without a center. Bored Ben wasn't a center. He was a short power forward who had only one skill. Joakim Noah and Aaron Gray will be fine at center. They are both rookies. They'll get bigger and stronger and they will be just as good as 75 percent of the centers in the league.

Are Hubie and Bill Walton still stuck in the 70s? You need a big man as your leading scorer?

C'mon, Noah is a good defender. Take for example the game against Yao and the Rockets. Yao averages 22.5 ppg, and against Noah he scored 12. Noah didn't silence Yao, but he annoyed him to the point that he cut his productivity in half. Keep the Gator!

Didn't paxson build this team in his own image? He must have a lot of self esteem issues then...

I never understood the trade and the direction Paxson was taking this team. This team is filled with nothing more than a bunch of off guards. We're in desperate need of a true point guard, Post Presence, size, and veteran leadership. When you lose to teams like the Tiberwolves, Knicks, Grizzles, Bobcats, your season is done.

THIS LOOKS LIKE THE FIRST GOOD TRADE BY THAT COMPLETE INCOMPEDENT PAXSON.... GOODEN IS 27 AND COULD BE GOOD FOR YEARS... JOE SMITH WAS HAVING A REAL NICE YEAR BUT NOT THE INSIDE FORCE THAT GOODEN IS AND SMITH IS ALMOST 33... WALACE WAS A LIABILITY ON THE OFFENSE AND THE DEFENSE WAS OF COURSE FADDING FAST... BETTER TO GIVE THE TIME TO THE ROOKIES... I CANT BELIEVE PAXSON DID THE RIGHT THINK... IM SURE HE MAKE UP FOR IT NEXT TIME....
