I am not following the logic, Ben is a bad defender and it shows because the Bulls are a bad defensive team, but when Vinny puts his "defensive" lineup out there does anybody see an elevated level of defense? Vinny doesn't coach defense. He brought in Phoenix's brand of ball. BG's best season came as a starter so trying to pigeon hole him as a six man doesn't make much sense to me. Who is a better choice to put at SG?? If someone replies Larry Hughes, I will find you and I will kill you....****
With the collection of players currently on the team, BG should start. Hinrich is a better defender, but he's not a defensive "stopper" by any means. On this squad the Bulls need BG's offense in the starting lineup more than Hinrich's defense. If the Bulls could acquire a 6-5 or taller two guard (like Iguodala) that could at least score in the mid to high teens and play outstanding defense, that would justify BG being that 6th man. But until they get that guy, BG should remain in the starting lineup.

Of course some would say Hughes is that guy, but since it's clear they're not playing him, that's a moot point.

Not only should Ben Gordon NOT start, he should NEVER get more than 10 to 12 minutes per game.

Like I said when I first came on here...
If the Bulls just unloaded Hughes, Gooden and Gordon for even nothing in return, they'd be a better team...
We're 2/3 there and they're much better...
Now Gordon needs to get out of town.
