you can answer all the crap questions you want to but ......the only way the Bulls can win is to fire the Matt Millen of GMs John Paxon...

I agree that paxson is to blame for the mess that is the bulls. Pull the trigger John and get rid of all these selfish clowns on the roster. Hughes (though hard to move) only wants 'his' minutes & shots. Gordon only plays for money that's why he has his head down this year. Watch him turn his back on the team when he gets the chance. Sick of this team fighting to see who can shoot the ball the quickest. Learn your roles, that's what wins championships aka the play of the Celtics, Lakers, Cavs, old bulls championship teams.

Paxson's biggest fault is getting too attached to his draft picks. He needs to be more detached, more professional.

K.C., i'll give you credit as you seem to have more faith in the abilities of the management team of the Bulls than the majority of fans do. You mention that Paxson couldn't get the Garnett or Gasol deals done, due to not having the required big men, and of course the dreaded salary cap, which Reinsdorf would rather cut years off of his life than pay. But, if i recollect correctly, these teams wanted Luol Deng included and Paxson flat out refused. I thought the stock that Paxson was placing in Deng was overblown then, and that certainly has turned out to be the case. Paxson's love affair with Deng is a big part of the setback of the Bulls, and you seem to want to sidestep that issue K.C.

Come on Andrew. Ben Gordon is about the team and is a class act. We offered the Wrong guy the Big Extension.

Hughes is out for Hughes. Period.
He's playing more for personal stats then for the team. BG is our most effecitnt shooter and one of the top Shooters in the NBA and Should be shooting it more. Hughes needs to stop shooting so much. Its the same ol story with him.

We need a trade in the WORST Way.
We need some real big men in the middle. Theres no escaping that truth.

If Paxson's made any mistakes, it's these: signing Ben Wallace; drafting Thomas over Roy and over-valuing Deng...
The Wallace deal was the only thing he could do...
Getting Thomas was intriguing because of his ability and the Bulls should have hired a specialty coach (Pippen?) strictly to work with him...
Deng had considerable value around the league, although I could tell he couldn't handle the ball and create his own shot well enough to be a star (Bernstein of the SCORE was saying the same.)
Pax has also done a lot of good and is one reason the Bulls have several titles so give him a bit more time.
He'll get it going again.

If I remember correctly, the Lakers put together a package and it was KOBE BRYANT that turned the deal down, of the opinion that the Lakers would be leaving the Bulls too thin.

Is Vinny (the magic) Del Negro close to losing the team? And how close is Paxson to being fired?

I don't think Pax is close to being fired, but I think Vinnie could be.
