i am sorry to say that this is the theme for this season we are too small and other teams are killing us on the boards. its hard to win when other teams are getting a load of Off. Rebounds, i think that the heat has two options for this year, first keep marion and let his contract come off the books and sign a big man next year. and in this case the heat will have a lottery pick. or they can trade marion and someone else for a true center or at least a big PF with some skills. and they might have a chance at the playoffs. but it they keep the same team they have now we are in for a long season.

Time to get a center?

How good were the Heat last time they had their PF playing C? Poor Brian Grant...

Haslem must go, we should sign Marion long term to play PF and trade Haslem for a center. Marion is a better defender and can run with the best of them. Haslem is just terrible. I dunno why we have kept him so long. I picture Beasley playing the SF role kinda like Scottie Pippen did, as a slasher and decent 3pt shooter. He just has to practice his defense which will come in time. We aren't going anywhere with the team we have now, trust me...Riley, please make a move asap. =)

Get rid of Marion!!! Trade him for a center so the heat can finally get defensive rebounds. We need a seven footer in there.

Ditto, ditto, ditto. Ira likes to nitpick Beasley and Chalmers while always praising Cook for some strange reason. Read his previous articles. It's about time he wakes up to the Heat dilemma in the middle.

Raptors have O'neal and Bosh so their team rebounds maybe decieving. None of the players we have can out rebound them and it just happened that O'neal dominated us this game

that might be true but what about the other gaes so far i can remember the Knicks when David Lee was literally reachiing over haslem to get the rebounds. and then there was Portland. if you watch all the heat games so far you would see all the teams are attacking the heat down low because they either get a good match up down low or get the Offensive board or get a foul and when haslems get in foul trouble who do we bring in blount, wow blount could not be more of a joke if you were to look up a waste of height in the dictionary you would see a picture of him. in the the raptor game the ball was bouncing off his head, i know his coach maybe told his to use his head to get rebounds but i don't think that's what he had in mind.
