Are Raptors D.O.A.?

Full story: Orlando Sentinel

There is no way the Orlando Magic will beat Toronto tonight, much less win their first playoff series since 1896.

OK everyone calm down. The voice of reason is here. Folks I believe that the Magic can close this series out provided they come out of the gate with the proper mind set. They need to have a lot of energy and focus. They should be prepared for the Raptors coming out early and trying to dominate. Just remain calm and withstand any run Toronto may make. And then just simply go ahead and lay the hammer down and finish these guys off.

Run them up and down the court and bombard them with three pointers. Then after they are dog tired go ahead and give them a double dose of DH-12 and wave bye-bye as they board a plane back to Canada.

It's just a throw away article because there is nothing else to write about. I don't see why you people care so much.

I thought the article was kinda funny. Pointless, but funny. Big game tonight. They better come to play, Im sure they dont want to go back to Canada, of course no one wants to go to Canada. That should be incentive enough to put them out.

The citizens of Orlando do not thank you for your ignorant and saracastic article. I think this article is sufficient grounds for your termination from the Sentinel.

"But that if they do, the fine citizens of Orlando will blame their favorite local newspaper."

Why would the citizens blame The Pennysaver? Oh...FAVORITE local newspaper..you mean Orlando Weekly? No you must mean the Sanford Herald...no? You can't seriously be talking about the Sentinel can you? Cmon now, there's more interesting (and better written) articles in the Lake Mary High School Newspaper.

Go Magic!

I remember that and I also remember the J. West cleared his roster to make room before Shaq was allowed to move - like he didn't Shaq was on the way
Outatime wrote:
For anybody who believes that Shaq was "run" out of town: During his TNT interview on the night he was drafted by the Magic he was asked what he thought about going to Orlando. The first sentence out of his mouth was "I've always dreamed of playing for the Lakers." He then realized what he had said and became politically correct after that.

"Despite what their biased play-by-play announcer had predicted, the Raptors did not defeat the Orlando Magic in six games but instead lost their playoff series in five."

"We should never, ever, ever pay attention to announcer/shill Chuck Swirsky, who consistently and irresponsibly overrates the Raptors.(He actually insisted before the season that, despite acquiring stars Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen, the Boston Celtics would finish behind the Raps. As it turned out, the Celts finished first with 66 victories, 25 more than Toronto.)"

"And so Toronto remains a city of losers, with Mitchell, Blue Jaysí manager John Gibbons and Maple Leafsí coach Paul Maurice all in a firing line."

"Reconstructive surgery will be difficult but vital for Colangelo.
A tip for him: Donít ask Swirsky for advice."
