He doesn't have the decision-making skills of Jamaal Tinsley. He doesn't create as well, either.

Talk around the office today is the pacers didn't even try to win.
I stopped watching all pacers/related events. Street thugs.
And, as you defend them, look at the attendance. I'm NOT in the minority.

Gotta give O'B some credit for trying to put a positive, professional spin on the whole thing. He's been put in a tough situation this year, and really seems to love the game - More than his players, in some cases, and he's a bigger fan of the NBA than the town, currently. If the Pacers aren't ready to step forward and he does well with what little he has, he'll go somewhere for a real chance to succeed when he's done here.

Oh, and who is going to complain about thuggery when Tinsley and O'Neal are out with injuries? Seems to me the thug pool is thinning.(IMO O'N isn't in the same pool anyway).

Tinsley is NOT going to be traded! He is O'Brien's favorite player. What you see on the floor is what you are going to get the rest of the year. Some decent players, but no championship. We are not consistent. We will be lucky to make the playoffs.

O'Brien says that Owens is a high level defender. In the next sentence he says that Owens did not play in the 4th quarter because he wanted Daniels to defend Billups. Maybe this is why the Pacers are where they are. Everybody is playing and coaching with a short deck!

Is it really your contention that when people use the word thug that they acutally mean the "N" word? Face it. There are thugs of every race. A thug is anyone who gets in to fights and tries to bully people. Any inference to race is your way to discredit people who make valid points. Instead of discrediting their arguments you just call them racists.
As for your other argument. Police found pot in Tinsley's car and in William's car. Both of them had other people take the fall for the drugs but to think that they were not doing them is niave at best. Of course others are going to take the wrap for the drugs. If you are poor and you have one meal ticket friend you take the fall so they can continue making the money. Like it or not but you can tell a lot about a person by who they hang out with.
