No one said anything like this when we weren't hurt and firing on all cylinders. we had a stretch of 16-5 before MB's rotation was oblitherated by injuries. I was at the game last night as well. We just don't have the players man. MB has done well to keep it together thus far. People are mad at Ferry and yell that he should do something. I ask all of you what team wants any of our trash, and if you name one I'll call you a liar. Go ahead, name 1 team that wants LH and his inflated contract. Name 1 team who wants Eric Snow, Ira Newble, Donyell Marshall. Name one. I'm am so tired of morons saying Ferry's needs to do this and that. WE DON"T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO ANYTHING WITH SO STFU! At the end of the year it we be different. That's when my pass for Ferry runs out. As far as MB goes, I'm not mad at him. He's has his nights but in most games like when we weren't hurt he was doing a fine job.
People like you need to (stfu). Clicking on all cylinders ha ha what a f-ing joke. You mean when Lebron was carry all of these sorry re-tread players, coach, and GM though a 16-5 stretch. All teams have injuries that’s a part of sports. Garnett missed a month and Boston didn’t miss a beat. So I don’t want to hear that sh-t. The Cav’s were 30 million under the cap in 2005 when Ferry was hired and what do we have to so for it.

I have an idea, the doom and gloomers should all go root for the Celtics. Leave the pathetic Cavs and their horrible coach and GM to the rest of us. When the Cavs recover from these injuries, make their playoff run and beat Boston and Detroit, or worst case, make the necessary moves this off-season when it makes sense to do so and become the team to beat next year, then we'll see you all back aboard the bandwagon. But for now, enjoy rooting for the Celts.

Bye Bye.

Shannon Brown will become a fine NBA player. Once he's pick up by a team with a coach that can draw up a play or two. The kid has never had an oppuntunity to show his ability. Stro and Dahnte at least got a chance to play.
Shannon Brown has never met a shot he does not like, and is very turnover prone. He did nothing to impress in summer league or D league and shot a poor %. I think Mike Brown is trying to win games and does not think playing Shannon Brown is going to help much. I can see Shannon Brown putting up stats for a lousy team or being completely out of the NBA relatively soon, but can't ssee him being an integral part of a good/great team, just my opinion.
I am hoping Shannon gets a shot with Memphis, because that means the Cavs will have pulled off the Mike Miller, Kevin Lowery , Cardinal trade for Newble, Shannon, Dwayne Jones, Cedric Simmons, draft pick.

<quoted text>Year after next season. By then he'll be 37ish and too old. Cavs missed a golden opportunity this year to win a championship. If I was Gilbert, Brown & Ferry would be fired and kicked out on their A$$es. The two of them haven't a clue on how to win a championship, learning on the job is the wrong way to do it.
Thanks for the Kidd update, although I wouldn't completely write off Kidd at 37, his game has never been based on athleticism, he is a prolific distributor, which we saw in the allstar game when I think he outpassed Nash, and he could still be a force in tandem with LBJ. Look at it like volleyball, Kidd sets them up and Lebron smashes them down.

I also disagree on Ferry/Brown, I think the jury is out on Ferry, but I think Brown has done very well, much better than Silas.

Get some truth in your rants. Retread players? How are Z, Larry, Gibson, Gooden and AV retreads? Please answer me that. It's not like the idiot-fan scapegoat Hughes, although not playing up to his contract, would be out of the league if it weren't for the Cavs!

Garnett was out and Boston didn't miss a beat? We had 3 of our top 7 out and they did miss a beat... THEY LOST TO US! And without LBJ, who's a much bigger piece than Garnett, we went to their house and almost won!

Pass whatever you're smoking around.

They should give up on the rhythm thing. Even the Vatican says it doesn't work.

I repect your opinion, but the point I’m trying to make is talent wins games in the NBA. And Shannon has talent. If he were playing behind and losing minutes to quality NBA players I would totally understand. But for Coach Brown to play these re-tread, and sub par talented players in front of Shannon doesn’t make good sense to me. I’m at the Q every home game and I’d rather watch Shannon on the court dunking, slashing, and turning the ball over rather than guys who will all be out of the league very soon. Teams would at least have to guard Shannon.

I’m not a doom and gloomer, but as a fan I just expect to see NBA players on our roster not a bunch of one-dimensional re-treads. Also call me crazy, but if it’s not too much to ask I’d expect our coaching staff, GM, and front office to make an attempt to develop the only #1 draft pick we’ve had in 3 years. Rather than bury him on the bench then letting him walk for nothing in return. Without ever giving the kid a chance to sink or swim. I’m a Cleveland fan for life Browns, Cavs, Indians. And I have every right to bash Ferry and Brown. This is my F-ing town not there's.

FB Sucks,

It's just too bad that you and many other Cleveland fans can't appreciate where our teams are right now. The Cavs are the defending Eastern Conference Champs, a feat they accomplished with the guys you call re-treads?! The Indians came within one win of the World Series last year, which would have been their 3rd WS in 13 years!! The Browns finished the year 10-6 this year within a tie-breaker of the playoffs!

You and many others act like we are stuck in the 70's and 80's when for the most part all three teams really did suck! I appreciate your right to bash anyone you want, I just feel that much of this bashing that goes on daily is unwarranted.

I for one am really enjoying being a Cleveland fan right now, especially living in Pittsburgh, with the Stillers getting worse and worse every year!
