Just do something. If you did not win the championship as the Cavs and Indians did not, then you must realize you cannot just sit back and play with the same bunch of guys. You need to improve.

If Ferry knew what he was doing, he'd figure a way to add Kidd and dump those worthless players with big contracts on the Cavs bench like Snow, Hughes, and Jones in a trade. Other GM's do it every day.

Jason Kidd would add a new dimension to the Cavs offense plus with AV back and when James comes back, the team could actually contend again, and be better.

Danny - do you need OMG to do your job?

It always amazes me hat we have to deal with the salary cap, yet Miami, Boston, LA Lakers, Dallas, Phoenix find a way to have 3 or 4 all stars and pay them.

I say they throw in nenad kristic too. We can't give up Gooden and not get a big back, we are way too thin. And Kidd is obviously disgruntled so who says they get full value for him. I love gibsons shooting but if we could get kidd and kristic (isn't he hurt or not recovered completely yet?) i would have to make the deal.

While kidd seems to be at the top of his game still, we could possibly get andre miller for much less. Thank god they fired that stubborn Billy King. Miller kinda been like a poor man's kidd and has been an allstar in his career. He's gotta be around 30-32 age range which is fine with me. Andre Miller lead the league in assists when he was here playing with a bunch of nobodies. Either way Ferry has got to do something.

yea man, active forwards like av, kidd always finds slashing to the hoop (mikki moore) for easy buckets and to get points out of av is just bonus. We see what moore is doing now in sacramento.

i dont think new jersey is going to do us any favors by taking bad players and bad contract. maybe one if the they get some good players in the trade. we are running low on good players. lebron, z and AV are untouchable. after that we are left with sasha, boobie and gooden as our only decent players lef to trade.

Grumpy? This is the Cavs. Not the Pittsburgh...oh, wait they don't have an NBA team there.

So you want to take Gooden's offense out of the lineup and put in Anderson's offense in? I don't care what player you get in return, you are worse off after that deal. And I can not see ANYONE taking that joke of a deal for Hughes off our hands. We are stuck with that for another 2 years!!!

I don't see Ferry being able to pull any of these deals off. A team like the Celtics can get an all-star like Ray Allen for those awesome talents like Delonte West who's averaging 7 points per game and Szczerbiak who's averaging 10, and a first round pick, that turned out to be Jeff Green who's averaging 9. West and Szczerbiak don't look like young and up and coming stars to me, Green he might be a player, but he isn't setting the world on fire. But Danny Ainge got that done, Ferry can't do that. There will be a lot of rumors about trades but nothing major will get done it'll be some minor trade like the Jiri Welsh trade that won't make a difference.

1st of all, the NBA has a rule that you can not trade back to back 1st round picks. So unless we trade for another 1st rounder - the 1st round choice is staying since we did not have a 1st rounder this year.

2nd of all, how is AV untouchable? LBJ is the only untouchable. AV is a very good PF/C back up, no more than that. Gooden does everything AV does, plus has more offensive skills. What is the obsession with AV??? Much like most of the NBA teams, I just don't see it.

your replacing goddens offense with kidd's offense and kidd will make the other players better and take the pressure off lebron.

i would much rather have andre miller though like the other guy said. kidd is a low life human being. a man who beats his wife and in front of their kids is no man and i guess i dont want him on our team.

That would be a good trade for a couple of years. To get kid there you would have to give him a multi year extention, and he will only be good for a couple of more years. He will decline right in time for Lebron's contract to expire. At that time you would have no cap space. No new talent because you traded them away with draft picks. No new picks. No future. And guess what. Lebron would see that and play somewhere else. I guess Ferry does know what he is doing after all.

The way the Cavs are losing, Cleveland doesn't have a NBA team either.

LeBronx was probably talking about playing for his boy Jay-Z in New Jersey. He'd love to be closer to his Yankees.

Great point. Btw, we've had a couple of chances already to re-sign Andre Miller when he was a free agent, and didn't. Cavs are such morons.
