Lebron is the first, EVER, to go from being a King into a Prince overnight. To go from the MVP of the NBA and #1 Star in the East to playing second fiddle as the #2 star on his new team. The King is now D Wade and Lebron is Wade's prince. Wade will always be the #1 star on the Heat and everyone in Miami knows it. "Lebron, I hope you live to regret this decision everyday for the rest of your life."

Cavs win a title before Lebron come on Dan why don't you run your casinos and loan shark stores and sell this team to someone who will do whatever it takes to win. It took courage for LBJ to admit he cannot lead a team to a title so I will follow a team to one, it speaks volumes that no free agent would follow him do you think Bird, Magic or MJ would have that problem? Good luck in Miami Scottie Pippen OOPS I mean Lebron

Someone needs to tell this cry baby that he blew it! Just because he failed to come up with a winning strategy, he thinks crying to the people of Ohio will win him favor. All he cares about is himself. The unfortunate reality for poor Dan Gilbert is that Miami's ownership/management is better at long term strategy than he is. Period. They got Lebron for less money than he could have earned at Cleveland. Just wait. Once Ohio residents realize that we're all paying higher taxes because of Dan Gilbert's letohiovote, they will really hate him and put the blame where it belongs. We're paying about $900 million over two years in higher taxes, so he could have a casino monopoly in Ohio. Once everyone figures that out, I hope they string him up and send him out of Ohio for good. He blew it with the Cavs and he screwed us financially. Someone please tell him to stop crying like a baby and go home!

Good for the Cavs. Traitor James needs to hear that his actions have consequences. Maybe James should get out of his bubble. Anyway F-him.

LeBron has a right to leave for whatever reason. But he left in a classless way -- NO CLASS. I also think he quit during the NBA playoffs.

I do not wish him well in Miami.

I live in Ohio, and I say Dan doesn't "get it". Just like he didn't "get" a ring.
Stay classy, Dan.

Oh who cares. It's all about money. You never had his loyalty if he was taken that easy anyway.

I am a die hard CAVs fan and do not get the bitterness?? This is business and LeBron is an employee. People transfer on jobs all the time. The man is 25 and has never lived outside Ohio. He gave you 3 HS championships and a HS national championship. He gave you 2 MVPs and the best record the prior 2 years. Is Dan Gilbert loyal? He fired a winning coach, fired Danny Ferry who is the reason they won 127 reg season games. Not to mention, he tried to steal Izzo when Izzo means so much to Michigan State. He is a spoiled brat that did not get his way like he always does in the billionaire boys club. He should have slept on it instead of being emotionally immature. Why would he want a player he claims dogged it in 3 games in the playoffs??? Gilbert needs to get his butt in line and face the fact that he has 2 signed players and needs to get to work instead of lip flapping so much. Lebron was drafted to the CAVS, they did him no favors. Lebron also saves 11.2 million in state tax in Florida. Instead of being the emotional fan, have some good sense. Let me give you a list of names that would have loved a chance to have a championship: John Stockton, Karl Malone, Charles Barkley....So stop the negative and be a class organization so that you do not scare away free agents and their representatives. Gilbert's emotion can wreck his product. LeBron came to the CAVS and the team was worth 242 MM and went up to 447MM. That is why Mr. GilberT is so ticked off! HOW CAN THE FANS LIFE BE SO "SHALLOW" WHERE THEY HAVE NO LIFE AND NOTHING ELSE TO LIVE FOR? The only thing I see that should have the fans and Gilbert disenchanted is LeBron should have let the team know long before he did so that all of the top players did not get signed by other teams. LeBron leaving is okay but the fact he did not let the CAVS manage their business is the only issue I have. RE-GROUP!!!!!!!

The King has been knocked off the pedestal that all of Cleveland put him on. Done in by a self-flicted lack of class and decorum. Gilbert simply responded in kind.

Cleveland and Akron opened their hearts to LeBron James . LeBron knew how important he was to the Northeast part of Ohio and still decided on Miami ,Fl . I still remember the Ohio High School Athletic Association investigating the reports of his mother Glory James who was driving a new white Escalade and living in Government subsidized apts in Akron + signing and selling autographs from a Sports Memorabilia store . Let's see what happens in Miami ,Fl . Go Cavaliers !

Brilliant! Now Cleveland can lure free agents with the following sales pitches:

1. Excellent climate and weather
2. Robust local economoy
3. A lengthy history of winning and championships
4. A captivating social scene
5. An owner who is loyal and committed to his franchise and players
6. Diehard fans who would never lash out and abuse someone for the audacity of not staying in the paradise of Cleveland, Ohio defined by the 5 points above.

LeBron just said that he is going to win 7 championship rings with the Heat. Good job LeBron putting a huge target on your back. The Cavs will be better without him (Maybe in a couple of years)
