Cleveland may have bought themselves a ticket to the NBA Finals with this move. Lebron should be very happy with this move.

I hear you. Cleveland is my Basketball team, until my Sixers get back in shape. You know, my Sixers have fell on hard times. Even though we've got young players, it'll be awhile before we make some noise in the NBA EASTERN CONFERENCE.

The East is going to be very interesting this season, that's for sure. I think the Cavs got alot and gave away little. They will be ok after they get further into the season. As everyone says, they need to gel as a team.
Your 6ers have a new Coach this year. What new players did they acquire?

Yeah, you're right. The Cavs have the brightest future out of any team in the East, that I can see. We got a new coach, but very few new players, this new point guard, I've never seen him play. I personally would have kept Miller, and gone out and got some rebounders. Cheeks left us with a good necleus of young players, he just wasn't allowed to develope them. I would have traded Iggy, and kept Miller, and tried to get some rebounders to help Brand. Brand's old, too many battles out West, have really beat him up, for the rough and tumble battles of our conference!! It's one thing to just run and gun, but when you've got to battle 'Bron, Garnett, Superman in Orlando, and D-Wade in Miami, it's a whole nother game, in the East. Our 76ers need some rebounders, we can't get a rebound when the game is on the line, it's pitiful!! So, I'm going to root for you guys, I've been watching Cleveland for a long time anyway. Cleveland was the team who got Daugerty after we traded him away, and destroyed the Sixers when we had Barkely in town.

Anybody who can beat Boston Celtics is alright in my book, LOL!!! I'm hoping you'll get it done this year, and you'll have Shaq in town too, so that's a big help. I look for the Cavs to be Champions this season, I want to see yall bust up L.A. Lakers, if they should get back!!

I like your thinking lol! I've always been a Cavs fan. Players come and players go, I stuck with the team. We sure had a good team back when Daugherty played here......Mark Price, Ron Harper, Hot Rod, Mike Sanders, Steve Kerr, Craig Ehlo, Larry Nance......I'm sure I'm forgeting some others. I just don't think Orlando's acquisitions is going to be enough for them. I think the Celts are aging and I'm glad we didn't end up with Rasheed lol! Dude has issues. I don't think Miami got Wade enough help. But I hear we should keep our eye on the Pacers.

Good post. Although I would have loved for Rasheed to come back home. He our homeboy, and he could have helped us on the boards, gave Brand some help, and would've been an additional scorer in the paint maybe. He would have at least help close up our porous middle. Yeah, those Cavs were nice, just couldn't get past the Bulls. Miami is rebuilding, I don't think they will mount any serious challenge for the conference though. Pacers? hum, that's a good look, don't know enough about them yet, to make an opinion. Orlando did go through the Conference Finals, though, they had to have learned something. What fooled me was how slow off his feet Howard is, I mean he had some real ducks that he blew, because he is slow off his feet, he should have had a lot more 'and one's than he did. They need another big scorer. Maybe if their starting point guard hadn't went down it might've been a different story. Celtics will have the same cast minus Powell, Wizards, nothing, Nets, nothing, Bulls, nothing, Bucks, maybe make it to the playoffs, that's being kind, Pistons, rebuilding, Like I say, you guys have the brightest future in the Conference, I'll be shocked if your Cavs don't make it to the NBA Finals, and should win the NBA Finals, that'll do wonders for the City, since you all lost LEE, and Fransico to the Phillies.

Yeah, Sheed could have plugged up a BIG hole in the middle for you. I think he wanted on a team that has a possible run for the ship, as he isn't getting any younger. I didn't know he was a Philly boy. Did he grow up on the bad side of town or what is the deal with his attitude?
I'm not all that impressed with Dwight "Elbows" Howard either! I know he was named DPOY, but I can't respect how he got that award. With Turkey going to the Raps, I would have to say Pietrus, Lewis and Johnson are my fave Magic players. Will just have to wait and see what Vince Carter is going to bring.
The Tribe owner/managment mindset is really hard to figure out. Cleveland is just a stepping stone for excellent players to move on to the big $. We lost CC this year to the Yanks also. Cliff Lee is a good one too. He'll help you all in the playoffs for sure.
