Rough tactics by Wizards blatantly bad

CLEVELAND: Which moment shall we pick? The one when DeShawn Stevenson waved his hand in front of his face after he made a 3-point shot with his Washington Wizards down 19? Or when Brendan Haywood was ejected ... Full Story

Where is everyone? The Cavs are coming together at the right time, playing as a team, and making the trade look brilliant. Where are all the haters?

Where are the Alan Tucker clones? In a coma perhaps?

The Cavs saved the best for last just like we were hoping for. Coach Brown is coaching his best and getting the right players out there. James is king. Everything is true. But the Wiz, who should be at least challenging this motley crew, this ragged few, this aching back of a team, have collapsed in a heap of their own putrid muck.

O CAPTAIN! my Captain! our fearful trip is done;
The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won;
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting...(W. Whitman)

Obviously my view might be jaded by being a Cavs fan, but aren't the Wiz just coming off as the biggest douches in the NBA. And they aren't even winning! They're just fouling, running their mouths, waving hands in their faces, talking shit to fans, and then getting blown out.

I thought the Spurs were a little dirty on the Suns last year. I thought Rasheed was the biggest A-hole I'd ever seen, but at least he has some game. These guys continue to get their asses handed to them and then they taunt us. FUCK THE WIZARDS!

The Cavs handled Washington last year too, so the trade doesn't all of a sudden look great to me. The Cavs should be beating Washington on their home court.

As far as the trade goes, what happened to everyone saying "just wait til Shannon gets out of here, Mike Browns an idiot, he's going to go crazy, he's such an athlete"

Then shannon goes and gets a nice new suit to sit on the inactive list.

Thank god all you people aren't the GM

This is like when you were in high school and you knew you would kick the guy's a** if he ever stepped to you. ell. Souljha Boy has stepped to him and Lebron and gang are givng the Wiz the biz. Win game 3 and ther cooked, period!!You need certain qualifications to be considered Bad Boys and Washington does not have them. Motion offense, no post game, trying to out-score everybody, does not sound like a stout defensive unit to me. Keefp fouling yourselves into the off-season.

Washington probably would be better off to just play their game.

I'm so proud of the Cavs! Excellent game guys! Great team work and way to ignore their ignorant and immature tactics. That's right, settle it on the court.

The series has obviously been great so far, but I do expect them to lose Game 3 on Thursday night. It happens in almost every playoff series.....the home team takes 1 and 2 and then loses the third game on the road. There's no reason for it.....the hoop is still 10' high and the foul line is still '15 away, but it's as if it's a different game.

I can see them rebounding and taking Game 4 and then closing it out at home in Game 5. Hopefully that'll be the case.....that way, they can get the same amount of rest (or at least close to) as Boston will have.

The refs needs to do a better job with handling this type of dumb behavior. Fans and foes have paid good money to see two basketball teams play on a professional level. The Cavs are playing professionally. But the Wizards are playing street basketball, which can be located and viewed for free in any public intercity setting.

Its funny that you call the Wiz a bunch of douches because that is the exact thought I had about Arenas when he said, "I'm an assassin. I just make buckets," prior to the series. Oh really you make buckets. These guys are F-ing morons.

Are you a Cavs fan? I'm just wondering if the rest of the nation that sees these games and don't care about either team are going "wow, the wizards are a bunch of douches!"

I love guys like Reggie Miller and Tim Legler talking about hard fouls and how tough the league was when they played. A couple of P*ssy-ass jump shooters who didnt even know what the "paint" was until they became commentators, and they're yapping about what a playoff foul constitutes??

I had to laugh out loud... I mean at least a guy like Charles Barkley gave and took a few hard shots in his day, but Reggie FREAKING Miller??? That's comedy.

Almost as funny as the excuses flowing out of Washington like a river of loose stool. Injuries, league bias, blind refs, and pretty much anything they can think of to mask the fact that they knew they were going down in 5 or 6 games if they were lucky. Artificial indignation at its finest.

Am a Bulls fan watching this series. After reading what the Wizard players were saying before the series and watching the silly fouls and antics on the court, I think a lot of folks are wondering what exactly the Wizards are thinking... accomlish

For me, all the Arenas blogging and "overrated" comments were nice little fodder. Stuff I'd seen before and you can use to make a nice sign when you go to the Q. My jaw-dropping moment even wasn't the hard fouls. It was when Stevenson waved his hand in his face. When Arenas kept jawing with Delonte West, while West kept trying to walk away. It's all the glaring the Wiz do while the Cavs just keep laughing. That's when I thought, man... these guys couldn't look more like babies if they tried.
